I have used Saks in Skipton for many years - since realising my then hairdresser made me resemble a curly Gonk, and not liking it. First John and then Claire have been custodians of my look, and I have been - as God would say - 'Well Pleased'. I can now pass without comment in the most chic of society. A bonus is enjoying amusing and erudite conversation during the process. So Thank you John and Claire, and the peripheral staff too, for an always excellent service.

Claire has cut my hair ever since I moved to the area and has always been brilliant. I'm not particularly comfortable in noisy environments but Claire and the salon team have always been incredibly good at putting me at ease. I had a complete restyle after growing my hair out during the pandemic and deciding to donate it to charity and again they made me feel comfortable and Claire gave me a new hairstyle which meant I'll never go back to growing it long. I'd genuinely recommend.

My review is about my whole salon experience including reception and Summer who washed my hair. Everyone seemed to be happy, relaxed and wanting to pass those positive feelings to customers. I was happy with every aspect of my experience. It was the first time I’ve ever been able to choose my colour. It was the cleanest my hairline has been immediately after a colour.

I have been a client at Saks for many years. I have come to expect excellent service and results and am never disappointed. John, my stylist, is an expert in his field. He always cuts my hair well, enabling me to style it easily myself at home. His vast experience in cutting and colour is obvious.
Saks salon is unfailingly welcoming. All the staff are friendly and do all jobs willingly and with a smile. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, yet it is clear this is only achieved through hard work and attention to detail. Things don’t run so smoothly without a team effort and Saks achieve this perfectly. The little extras like complimentary drinks and a good supply of quality magazines to read, together with an excellent hair wash, head massage, haircut and colour, make the whole experience a pleasure. Great job Saks!
