I relocated for work 12 months ago & it made sense to move hairdressers for convenience. I had already heard great reviews on the Salon & Jodie’s and my paths had crossed having children the same age. I had been with my previous salon for almost 20 years so I was nervous at first but there was no need. The service from all the staff is lovely & friendly and Jodie takes excellent care of me. I feel so comfortable and confident every time I visit. Thanks for looking after me so well and I can honestly say I leave salon each month a very happy customer. X

Excellent hairdresser

Booked in for a drastic colour change and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Salon is super friendly and professional. Claire was wonderful, friendly and professional. It is clear that she really knows her stuff and was super helpful with explaining the process and after care. Will be recommending to all, couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Brilliant value for the service I received!

Had my 2nd appointment today after the salon reopened following lockdown. I felt completely safe as so many precautions are in place in the salon - masks, visors, disposable gowns, screens and hand sanitizers. There are fewer customers in at any one time along with fewer staff in order to minimise the passing on of the virus. John and all the staff are doing an excellent job during difficult times.

After shielding for 16 weeks due to underlying health conditions, my hair salon visit to SAKS SKIPTON was the first lengthy time out, Under "Normal" conditions this salon is the first ever I have found a salon experience enjoyable!!, But with Covid-19 restrictions,in place, I was ever so slightly apprehensive. There was absolutely no need. The whole experience, along with excellent adherence to all safety advice, ensuring I felt safe and cared about, incorporated smoothly, was as always,pleasant, enjoyable, relaxing and uplifting, When it was time to leave, It had really lifted my spirits. The secret for me, is the atmosphere is welcoming to all ages many salons cater just for the young, or just the elderly, At 63 I like to feel still in the middle!! John and the staff, are all so very warm, welcoming and cheery, The background music, is an eclectic mix from over the years, all in all, along with a much needed soothing head massage, a complete treat.

I really enjoyed my experience here. It’s a nice atmosphere and very professional. Everyone knows what they’re doing and my stylist Gabby has done a great job. I had my hair transformed back to my natural colour with highlights and this was done very carefully with the effect of looking natural. And the coffee is awesome too - little touches but they make a big difference. Very pleased with my visit today.

The cut, colour and all-round service were excellent and I look forward to my next visit.

Georgia is so attentive, and has really given me some hope that I can go back to the multi tonal colours I love in the near future. By suggesting a future patch test and the possibility that we can use the toners I had before is a great idea ?? She knows my hair and isn’t phased by a challenge. The cut is always spot on and the bouncy blow dry is outstanding. Georgia always ensures I leave the salon feeling better about my hair and I always have a 5* experience with her. Thanks again Georgia.
