This was my second appointment to rectify my attempts at cutting my hair. Very happy with the stylist and the color is great.
Having had 2 successive poor haircuts had to be realistic about what could be achieved when visiting Saks.
I am pleased to say my hair is much improved by John Goddard and I am optimistic that a couple more visits to him will restore my hair to its former glory so thank you so much and I look forward to the day when I am happy with my hair ????

First time at Saks. Gabby was great loved the colour she recommended and cut and finish were perfect. For a newly qualified I was very impressed. Even the skin test a few days ago was a friendly pleasant experience. Will definitely be going back.

I had another great experience with John Goddard, principle at Saks Skipton today. When we were chatting he reminded me he has been doing my hair for 10 years! I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with his handiwork in all that time & can fully recommend John as the best stylist/colourist I have ever Had?! He is abso fantastic!! The staff at Saks are friendly and caring. They make you feel good about yourself. Megan was great at understanding what style suits me and did a really good cut. I enjoyed the head massage while my Redken conditioning treatment was applied. The final result was great and friends have commented that my hair condition looks much better. I left Saks feeling great.

Sadly this was not a good experience. Really immature and inappropriate hair wash. I’m pretty sure she washed my hair with gloves on which pulled my hair and was not a comfortable experience. My cut was rushed as another client was patiently waiting for me to be finished. I have thick thick hair and the cut is really poor. The result now looks like I have dry flick ends which doesn’t sit right now that I have washed and styled it at home. It just looks dry and I’m in desperately overdue for a cut. There was zero time spent on styling around my face and one side sits thicker than the other. The salon itself was busy, however the clean up around me was poor. Sorry, won’t be returning.

Gabby did my hair very well. I liked the fact she also washed my hair so I got a good continuation of an excellent member of staff. All the staff were polite and happy to help. I felt comfortable which is good because I am generally scared of hairdressers!! So thanks SAKS. ( looks like you made me write it)

Very impressed
A few months ago I went to Saks in Skipton. I don't think I've ever had such a lovely style and stylist. My hairwash included a great head massage as well. Georgia then did my hair so wonderfully! I was very pleased and have been back since. Today involved a shorter style, looks fab! A friend I met in Tescos afterwards, complimented how it looked.

Claire has given me the best haircut I’ve had in a year. She took time to talk about what I wanted and gave me great advice. My next cut is already booked!
Everyone was very polite attentive and helpful. Gabby who did my hair was brilliant knew excatly what i wanted and got it sorted.
I have re-booked in 2months something I don't normally do but was so pleased with my hair and the service.
John owns Saks is personable, trains his team in high standards and always does a great job on my hair.
