John runs a top salon but also has a happy team. Nothing is too much trouble and he manages my fine hair so well; always looking for ways to improve it. Highly recommended.

Really love my haircut at Saks Skipton All staff really pleasant and love the head massage when having your hair washed. All the stylists know their stuff. My stylist Georgia always gives me a good cut and today we went more choppy more texture and movement and i love it. Im 51 and feel like 21 this evening!! Thank u Georgia and thank u Saks. X

I left a review yesterday as i quered the cost of my cut/blowdry at£46.The assistant who answered my call said it was because id had a restyle.I spoke to the stylist today and said it was for a cut/blowdry. Giving wrong information to the customer makes it uncomfortable when having to query a situation. The stylist made a good job .Sorry for having to check
Very sorry for the miss understanding, a restyle is £56 with our principle stylist and a cut and blow dry is £46. You were charged £36 because you had received a £10 birthday text.
Jodie is not only an excellent hairdresser but good to talk with.
She always seems pleased to see me and discuss how my hair is at that moment as it does vary. Another good job.
Thought i was paying for cut/finish as always had in past. Charged £46 for re style apparently. Rather upset. Expected to pay£30 in xmas vouchers +£6 which is acceptable. .
Been using this salon for about 10/12 years! First class service and very pleasant team!

Not happy with colour and rational underpinning the end result. This is not the outcome I felt I had discussed. Feel mislead and £175 later between December and February I will
seek consultation elsewhere.

Megan did a good job of sorting out a horrendously crappy haircut - one of many received from various salons in cumbria over the last 4 years! We went back to basics with a short and heavily layered and textured style which can be tweaked and refined over the coming months to get to where I really want to be.

I reallyadmire Claire. She so ways to get my fine fringe right. She even took time a few weeks ago to watch the owner, John do it in a blow dry.
She also shows real interest in you as a person. I enjoy her upbeat approach to life.
Was looking for a hair cute pretty much straight away as I was on my lunch break and had a family meal.. got looked after by the staff which were very helpful and got my booked in there and then!! Megan who did my hair did a great job!
As always I am delighted with my cut and colour. John gets it right every time and instinctively knows what colour suits a client.

I came into the salon to get my hair lightened to a golden tone, but came away with almost black hair. The reason given was ‘Asian hair is difficult to lift’, which frankly I think is a very tactless thing to say to a customer, making me feel as though it’s my fault. There was very little apology, one mild one at the end. I’m aware that mistakes happen, but the way you rectify them is crucial and whilst I was offered another appointment, I am not sure I feel comfortable coming in again. As a side note, I noticed that other customers were being offered a drink, but I was not and I was passed around different assistants, which seemed a bit chaotic. Today’s appointment was very below standards as far as hair appointments go.
