Salon 54

I’ve had two appointments at Salon 54 now. The first was with Danielle and the second with Jessica, both for a cut and highlights. They’ve transformed my hair from being long, shapeless, drab and brittle, to being full of shape, body, brighter and really soft. The salon is spotless and the ladies are genuinely lovely and care about what they do. Thanks girls, you’ve given me my confidence back and that’s everything! 💋

First visit. Everybody was really friendly and relaxed. I'm really pleased with my cut, the way it was dried, and the fab products used. Somebody who understands curly hair, at last!! :)

Was on holiday, popped in to salon on the off chance of a trim, as my hairdresser back home was poorly and couldn’t do it before I came away. Staff were friendly and helpful and Hannah said she could do it in five mins. Waited five mins and was called in! Hannah was absolutely lovely, friendly felt like an old friend and gave me a great cut which made me feel a load better! Thank you!

Fed up of trying to grow it and looking fine. Emma coloured it and styled it so it looked thick and glossy again. Thank you.

Fantastic service. Amiga took time to explore and explain options for my very fine hair. Recommending styles products and colours. Just what I had hoped for and more.

I met Hannah for the first time today on my first visit to the salon and was greeted with a beautiful smile. We had a good chat about my mini rethinking about my style with Hannah making some great stylist suggestions which I took onboard and agreed with. One latte, beautiful head massage and hair cut later I left feeling like a new woman. But obviously not before booking my next TWO appointments. Looking forward to continuing building a great stylist/customer “what’s said in the chair stay's in the chair friendship”

Hannah knows just what I want. I am moving soon to Bradford, but I'm am certainly going to come back for my haircut 😁

Aiga as professional as ever

A lovely treat today after what has been a very difficult 6 weeks for me personally.
Gorgeous cut and colour and Jess was like a breath of fresh air. Very knowledgable and professional, whilst being friendly and kind. Very welcoming salon, highly recommended!!!! (And a cracking cuppa ☕️) xx

I can highly recommend this Salon, customer service is second to none , they truly listen to what you want and also very honest about what will or not suit youre face shape , which I adore . Sell products that work , very professional, went as a stranger a few years ago and now feels like I’m at home with family , thank you so much all of you , I always look so forward to hair days , I could not find Holly on the list , so a big thank you to you Holly

I haven’t been loving the way I looked for a while and think it was because my hair was looking so limp and lanky and having had Jess cut my hair in the past I knew she was the only one I would trust to do me a big chop again. I now feel so much more myself and an in love with my hair again! It was just the confidence boost I needed and nevermind a lovely chat with Jess while she did it. All the girls at salon 54 are lovely and looked after me well from the moment I arrived until I left. Thank you for making me feel great again!

1st visit to this salon, great friendly atmosphere and a lot of care taken with my cut. They didn’t even laugh when I turned up an hour early 🤦‍♀️Definitely recommend ☺️

Not my usual stylist - very lovely. Good conversationalist and lovely hair wash. Enthusiastic and bubbly and I felt listened to. She was very quick!

Another amazing experience at salon 54, I loved getting my hair done now it's so lovely, always done well and I come out feeling so much better. My stylist Aiga is amazing and always helps guide me in the best way for my hair and gives me new ideas to try which I always end up loving, she makes my hair perfect is great company and an overall lovely person.

I am so glad I chose to come to Salon 54 when I moved to Thirsk four years ago. Anita has consistently been amazing over that time, both as a hairdresser and as a person. She has always had creative ideas and encouraged me to try bold colours and undercuts, which I never dreamed I’d have the confidence to have. Anita always makes me feel comfortable enough to be myself, and it’s always good to speak to Chris, Hannah and Danielle, who also always go out of their way to help and chat. Anita, keep being awesome and enjoy Australia, give a koala a hug from me!

As I have very curly hair I have spent years looking for a stylist who I trust. Emma is brilliant. The added extra to my visits is every time I go I receive another piece of invaluable information about how to manage my hair. It’s like learning while you’re there!

Can't recommend Salon 54 Emma Chris and all their fabulous staff highly enough. Nothing but praise for them all, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have curly hair and Emma is an absolute genius with it, if you're struggling to find a stylist who understands curls, try Emma, you won't be disappointed
