This was my first visit to Contemporary and I have booked another appointment. Relaxed, friendly service and I was able to discuss my options with the stylist.

I had a haircut and blow dry with Toni and I got exactly what I asked for. Very friendly, with honest advice for my hair type and extremely efficient. I love my haircut! Also, the girl who styled my hair afterwards (I am sorry, I don't remember her name but she lives in Redcar) did a fantastic job at it! Will be coming back soon!

Hairdresser was lovely however, I booked online it said cut and half head of highlights 79£ I paid £25 deposit and then another £65 =£90 when you are advertising at £79 would like to hear your feedback.

Laura is really chatty & friendly and always does my hair exactly how I ask for it! I love it, Thankyou :)

Only negative is the music , I prefer less “Poppy” may be just me..

I’ve never had a bad experience when I come to get my hair done with Laura. Relaxing experience from start to finish and always leave 100% happy with my hair. The other girls are always really friendly too. Faultless from coffee to hair wash. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very happy with hair trim and blow dry. Laura talks about what is needed and cuts accordingly. Young girl who washed my hair and gave head massage was gentle, which was appreciated.
An altogether good experience.
Marked down a little on value as I personally find the cost high, although I have to date continued to use the Salon. So must be good.

Kirsty is so lovely and welcoming! I really liked the way she saw me in a mask and offered to wear one. As I live with someone vulnerable it makes me feel confident about using the hairdressers. Thanks for a lovely hair experience Kirsty !

I’ve been coming to Elle for a while now and my hairs the best it’s been. I get offered a coffee and informed what’s happening within the treatment and how long things will be. A beautiful massage when im at the sinks and a 5* service.

First time in the salon, and usually avoid hairdressers best I can, however Toni made me feel relaxed was so friendly and welcoming , would recommend contemporary yarm !

Laura is extremely good at her job - very skilled & knowledgeable. I trust her completely with my hair & I always go away a very satisfied customer. She is definitely the best hairdresser I’ve ever had.

I’ve been coming to see Laura for a few months now. She is great, always have a lovely chat with her. She does my hair exactly how I want it, I always leave happy. Perfect colour and cuts it really nice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Also the salon is really stylish, the seats at the sinks are really comfortable and all the other girls are really friendly too. I really look forward to my hair appointments.

I always come away feeling good ?. Toni takes time to discuss my hair, how it's been, if I want anything changing (style/colour). I trust her to tell me if she doesn't think something would work for me/my hair. My little luxury, "me" time. Love the head massage when having hair washed/conditioned - only downside is I never want it to end! Thank you ?

Toni was great, she really took the time to look at my hair (hadnt been coloured in a while due to pregnancy) she advised me on the best colour and styled my hair beautiful.

I told bethan my hair had never been the shade of blonde I. Wanted with my previous hairdresser, she was so understanding of exactly what I wanted and made me feel so excited for the finished look! Even my mums booked in with her next she loved my hair too thanks so much bethan x

After a stressful week due to my dog being seriously I’ll, this was just the best way to relax. Lovely cut and colour and wonderful head massage. Bliss

Wonderful service. Laura always does a great job and she is very easy to talk to. The salon is always spotless and the trainee stylists are super helpful and polite.

The only downside is not being able to tip when paying with card. Not many people carry cash anymore. Would be great if contemporary would look into this function.

I've been coming to the salon for over two decades so am clearly a very loyal customer. The salon has always been inviting and staff conscientious. I haven't always used the salon for colours this is only over the last 8 years as I used to home colour.

Great experience as always. Made to feel like a valued customer, Mica always has time to listen and advise. Had highlights done on this occasion exactly as I wanted. Highly recommend Contemporary, Amanda and her staff really look after you!.

Kirsty is wonderful and really pleased with my cut and colour!
I liked the way she asked about wearing a mask which means a lot as I leave with someone vulnerable so still need to be careful.

I recently came to yarm salon with my daughter and Bethan has looked after us very wellshe understands how I like my hair cut (I can be fussy) and she gets it’s spot on each time. My daughter loved her colour too. I call this salon a little spot of luxury

I had my hair done by Bethan! It’s the second time I’ve been now, both times I’ve been treat amazing! All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I love my hair and had a nice chat with Bethan whilst she was doing it :) I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!
