My hair is curly and so I choose my hairdresser vary carefully and stick with them like glue if they’re good. Vicky is amazing. She listens to how I’d like it cut and advises me on what’s best. What’s most important is that she takes time to make sure I’m happy with the result and because of the kind of hair I have, she adds a little extra attention on the end to texture and ensure it’s the correct shape.

I received an offer via Instagram and due to my long, thick hair I tend to avoid hair dressers for as long as I can! However I think after my appointment with Rachel that will all change! Rachel made me feel at ease and was so complimentary of my hair and listened to what I wanted. The girl who washed my hair was also lovely, making me feel comfortable and most of all relaxed! Rachel took the time to talk me through different techniques to style my hair and this will make it so more manageable for me. Overall I left feeling so pleased with my hair, not just the cut but the finish too, it was perfect! Safe to say I will be back in the salon soon!

Ive been coming to Yarm Contemporary for a year or so now. I’m picky with my hair. I’m always having different colours, styles. Mica at Contemporary is fantastic. The colour is spot on, she’s full of ideas and the team are always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
