Lorraine has been cutting and colouring my hair for years. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Everytime I leave the salon I look better on the outside and feel better on the inside. An appointment with Lorraine is therapy for the outside and the inside of your head.

Gorgeous Notty did my colour on Saturday and I am beyond happy with the results! I came in with an massively outgrown blonde and I can’t believe how light Notty got my hair. She really listened to the sort of shade I wanted and I got no banding which is something I have got from other hairdressers in the past. Super lovely and chatty, the salon has a nice friendly feel too.

As a regular, it's easy to forget how difficult it was to find someone who could cut my thick, wild hair properly! Now I've got Notty and she knows how to tame it, it always feels so light and shiny. Notty has extensive knowledge of styles and techniques so can adapt the cut to suit what I want. I always leave with my head held high and a smile on my face. Highly recommended!

Blue hair is the best place in York for hair. It took me a while to find but it was worth it. All of the staff are friendly and professional and the salon always has a great vibe as a result. Notty is fantastic. She always does a great haircut but it is her personable nature and GSOH that make haircuts with her extra special. Keep up the great work!

My colour experience at Blue Hair has been the same as it has always been Exceptional.
Steve and Lorraine who own Blue Hair and are amazing Hairdresser’s themselves believe in ongoing training which is key to any hairdressers staying consistent producing style and Colour.
Edita produced my highlights this time using 3 colours she is amazing, but another reason why I love Blue hair is that the team have the most amazing communication between one another and always keep notes on every colour and method they use, which means every stylist can produce your same desired look.
I praise Steve and Lorraine for maintaining the expertise in colour and cut they and their stylists produce at Blue Hair.

I went to Blue Hairdressing to have my hair styled for a wedding. I was amazed by the results and my stylist was really friendly. She listened to my request and it was great that she improvised a bit too as I never know what to do with my own hair!!
