Loved my first hair cut with Fran. Especially great for Christmas. Thank you so much Fran for fitting me in.

The salon was so well organised and welcoming. On arrival I was greeted at the door with all Covid restrictions met in a really pleasant manor. Once I was fully checked, I was invited in to where I was shown my seat. Each station was screened and felt very safe! Charlotte was fantastic from start to finish and really made me feel confident to be in her talented hands. She sat and talked with me about what I wanted, advised on parts I was unsure of and then got started. She was supported by a team of really helpful and chatty girls who couldn’t do enough for me throughout my time in the salon. The process was seamless! My hair looked fantastic when it was finished and exactly as I had asked! Definitely the best salon I have ever been to! Thank you all of the Evolve team!

I'm really happy with my hair. Holly always listens and does exactly what I want and has helped.my hair to become so much healthier over the past year or so.

Evolve salon has everything in place from the minute you arrive at the front door.

Fantastic highlights and cut from Dyan/blow dry with body and soft curls.Lovely treatment at the sink sorry can’t remember her name but her massage of oplex treatment was fantastic

I have been coming here regularly for over 25 years as I was one of Linzi's first customers. She has always done a perfect job on my hair and I just love coming here. There is a lovely, happy atmosphere as all the staff are pleasant and efficient. Overall It is an enjoyable, relaxing experience.

Evolve is the only salon in York I've had consistently great haircuts from. Wish it hadn't taken me 15 years to find this lovely place.
Theres a warm, friendly atmosphere at Evolve, and it feels genuine.
They properly listen when they ask what you want doing with your hair, which should be the norm at all salons, but we all know it isn't. Frances is awesome, but I think all the stylists here are really good.
If I ever leave York I'll still come back here to get my hair done.

Been going to Evolve for years, you are always treated so well from the moment you enter the extremely clean and modern salon to the moment you leave with your super new hairstyle . During the pandemic I’ve been twice and the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure clients and staff stay safe. The best salon in York with very experienced staff and top class customer service.

I just wanted to write a huge thank you to Dyan and the rest of the team at Evolve . My appt was cancelled during lockdown and I managed to get a last minute pre Xmas one . It was only for a cut but Dyan went above and beyond and managed to add a few highlights to tide me over the Xmas period until my appt in January . My normal stylist is Charlotte and I was delighted with the cut Dyan did . The salon felt very safe and clean and they have done a brilliant job . Thanks to everyone for all the hard work this year and a hope all the angels have a fantastic Xmas .

She listens to what I'm thinking about my hair style and condition and makes great suggestions. Such a shame that we are going back into lockdown because Evolve have created a clean safe environment with no slip in standards for customers or staff. I feel completely safe in their salon. I never have any complaints. From the minute I walk in until I leave it’s a pleasure to be there. All staff are pleasant and efficient. The salon is gorgeous and relaxing. Holly has been tending my locks for many years and her advice and expertise is amazing. I walk in feeling a bit dowdy and often bedraggled and leave feeling gorgeous. It’s like therapy !

Holly is not my usual stylist but she is a delightful girl and my hair was beautifully cut. I am very pleased with it.
