I couldn't have felt better cared for. A huge vote of thanks to Linzi for her endless dedication and hard work to create a safe place for her clients and staff.

First visit back to the salon since lockdown. I was hugely impressed with the setup - every element was thought through and it's evident that a lot of time and effort is given to making the salon, staff and clients safe. Ebony is brilliant at her job and very confident in her ability to colour my hair. She worked in balayage with the colour already there and darkened my roots to give a brilliant finish while then giving me a well needed cut to take all of the weight out with loosing the length I had grown through lockdown.

After waiting 5 months until I could get my hair back normal , I was desperate to get to Evolve however not looking forward to it as I knew it wouldn’t be the luxurious , special treat I normally had , rather a necessity to get back and sort my roots & split ends out!
I was pleasantly surprised as they made bad times good with the obstacles they had to work around! Charlotte was a fabulous & as lovely as ever but I long for that fulfilled salon experience again soon!!

Evolve made the experience of having a hair cut and colour as safe as they could during the coronavirus pandemic. It still felt like a luxury despite the mask and no drinks. I was made to feel comfortable, welcome and indulged. The highlight as always was the head massage (and the finished look, of course).
Despite the social distancing and hygiene measures if I had tested positive for Covid (despite being asymptomatic) there would have been 3 staff members self-isolating due to their contact with me. However there were no social distancing breaches with other clients.
No trip to a hair dresser during the pandemic will be risk-free, and Evolve did all that was within their gift to mitigate the risks.

Wonderful to be back. Excellent service, as always. Dyan is fantastic and hair looked amazing when I left. Thank you.

I had a very pleasant relaxing experience. Linzi has put a comprehensive list of measures in place to reduce the risk of Covid 19 infection and transmission. I felt safe throughout my visit and confident that the salon has everyone's safety in mind.

Fantastic service as always! Every precaution taken possible to make the salon safe, even down to a plastic cover over the card machine.. Holly was using Davines colour for the 1st time on me, she took all the time and effort to ensure she understood what I wanted and that I was happy with the colour choices etc. Very happy with what she did. She also cut my hair a few weeks before and understood exactly what I had asked for.
I have been coming to Evolve for years and have always been really happy, never had a bad haircut.

Amazing service as always and highly professional considering the circumstances still felt like a treat to visit and the personal service makes it feel special each time.

The H&S measures taken were excellent. I felt safe and assured that I was not at risk of infection.

Had been a long wait during lockdown and couldn’t wait to get back to see Charlotte . She did a brilliant job as always , cut and coloured and feels amazing !! The salon felt very safe and clean and Linzi has gone above and beyond to make sure everyone feels as comfortable as possible .

Fran made sure my visit went very well and that I was comfortable at all times she took time to listen to my requirements she then cut my hair and I am very happy with the result.

The salon communicated the new rules regarding the appointment well in advance. All front of house routines made me feel welcome and at ease. As always, Charlotte made my hair look fantastic and we were still able to enjoy a friendly natter and catch up despite the face masks and visors.

First post lock down appointment on 6th July with Holly... I have to say the salon was totally prepared and professional for the new normal, but without compromising on service at all. Holly’s cut and colour from February had lasted surprisingly well to July, but very pleased to be updated! Don’t hesitate to go back - that is - if you can get an appointment!

From stepping into the salon the atmosphere was very friendly and staff very welcoming.
Coat off and coffee in hand l was introduced to my stylist who escorted me upstairs.
I liked the fact Charlotte asked relevant questions about my hair, products l use and what did l want to achieve
Recommendations made the process commenced. Charlotte explained what she was using and how much to use.
Excellent advice about how to achieve the style l wanted.
Next 3 appointments made.

Joanne cut and restyled my hair and I am thrilled with the result, her attention to detail and her precision cutting is second to none.. my hair looks fabulous, I have had so many comments about my hair....all positive. I will not go to anyone else now for my hair doing and that is a massive statement for me, as I am quite a harsh critic and not easily pleased when it comes to getting my hair cut. So a huge thank you Joanne for a great experience and a wonderful new hairstyle.

Had a full-head of highlights and all-over colour by Emma, which was wonderfully done and she was so honest and helpful. Incredibly happy with the job, my hair feels and looks so healthy!

Vicki and the team made me feel so welcome on my first visit to Evolve. Vicki asked me a number of questions to ensure she understood exactly what I wanted. She gave excellent advice too and was very knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and could not recommend Vicki highly enough, which is why I have rebooked!

Ebony was brilliant, she gave me a great consultation and really understood the condition of my hair, what style it was currently in and the new style I was aiming for. Ebony has great knowledge of the products and chose the best ones for me and my hair, she gave me tips on how to style my hair so I can achieve my ‘sassy hair with bangs’ look at home. I can’t wait to go back and get my colours put in. Ebony you made this middle aged mum of two feel young and sexy again! Thank you x

I have just moved to York and was apprehensive about going to a salon I’d never been to before...I needn’t have been. I had such a relaxing experience at Evolve. All the staff there were so friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like such a treat...from the complementary hot chocolate to the massage chair while having my hair washed. Emma did a fantastic job of my cut and colour and talked me through the different colour options really patiently and with a lot of knowledge. I will definitely be back.
