TONI&GUY YORK opened in the town in 1998.

We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice on the latest trends and services.

Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella master colour expert-their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry and Microlinks/ring Tape extensions. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, Wella, Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. Great cut shame about customer service

My cut was fantastic as ever but let down by front of house customer service. No one let me know Rona was running 30 mins late, either at booking in or after. I had to go back to reception to ask what was happening. Not great to have to sit in a mask for 30mins increasing any potential exposure time. I was also 30 mins late out if the salon to meet friends - would have expected some apologies at payment or some offer of recompense.

I visited the salon on Monday 12th October and had an appointment with Claire.
Claire discussed my hopes and dreams with me after losing my hair due to Cancer. I am currently 18 months on in the regrowth stage of some very frizzy thick hair.
Claire was able to work her professional expertise on my hair. She has helped me love my hair again.
I would also like to thank her for such an amazing gesture she made within my appointment!

Cut it too short

I asked for maybe half an inch off my hair so it would be a medium length bob. I also wanted it shorter at the back and longer at the front. Instead there was about 2 inches cut off and it’s the same length all around. It’s a blunt cut too and not blended in. I’m quite upset as it sits just above my chin and does nothing for my face.

I always have a great time as well as a great hair cut. Matt treats everyone with a relaxed and friendly style. We talk about all sorts and I don’t feel like I am 20 years older than him because he treats you like an equal... no judgement. The team clearly all get on and I like it that there is a calm and friendly atmosphere between all the stylists and their manager too
