About us

TONI&GUY YORK opened in the town in 1998.

We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice on the latest trends and services.

Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella master colour expert-their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry and Microlinks/ring Tape extensions. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, Wella, Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Really professional, friendly and overall great experience. Had a free haircut and blow dry as work for NHS. Was a lovely treat and much appreciated. Was surprised to not have my temperature checked nor offered any hand gel on arrival at the salon. Had to ask for the sides of my hair to be cut, as Stylist only cut the back!! Was very pleased with the finished effect though.

I have come to Holly for years I have curly hair and never let anyone else touch it!
When trying to book one of the free NHS cuts she was fully booked but today was free for me as the Deal was honoured, thank-you so much . You are all as much appreciated for sticking yourselves in the frontline to do our hair as I am for working as a nurse, unbelievable gesture ??????
It’s the second time I’ve been to the salon, had a colour last week. All of the procedures put in place are excellent and the individual packs of PPE ideal. The new layout of the salon lends itself very well to social distancing , guidelines strictly adhered to without it feeling like a fuss or a problem, all very natural and easy.
My hair had grown since early February and I’m really happy to have had a great cut , but still left it longer to tie it up at work.
Holly is great, always so professional and her scalp massages are a bonus I didn’t expect! I live the new s salon layout ????

Frankie is awesome! Sorted my hair after lock down the cut is great nice and neat and fresh and the colour is done really really well!!!!
