About us

The Hair Emporium is a family-owned brand led by two generations of passionate hairstylists.

Anne McPherson and daughter, Sallyanne, combined their ambition of opening a hair salon together in the summer of 1990.

The duo decided it was the ideal time having both previously owned successful salons. Anne relocated her creative team to Sallyanne’s Studio5 and The Hair Emporium was born.

Now, for nearly three decades The Hair Emporium has focused on delivering the highest quality of hair design and client service. To ensure unfaltering standards, Anne and Sallyanne have personally trained all members of our creative teams.

Natasha can talk and style . It’s a lovely experience. I just think how did she manage to do that? She doesn’t tell you your hair is a mess. Mine always is when I come in the shop. Natasha say’s you know it’s not too bad at all. Do you still like the colour? I do! I think Natasha has a very lovely personality. She is a treasure. I am very happy to have her as my hairdresser. She’s trendy too with her designer glasses band her beautiful hair.

This salon is always busy and if you try the services on offer, you'll know why.
From simple trims to the most complex colouring techniques and cuts, the stylists are always on top of their game.
Natasha cuts my hair. Calm, careful, thoughtful and highly professional. And so kind! She knows exactly what's needed to bring out the best in my hair and leave me feeling confident and happy.
The prices too are reasonable. The salon friendly and spotlessly clean.

From start to finish I felt cared for. The girls are so welcoming and professional. Sally-Anne definitely knows her trade well. Best service I’ve received in a long while. Natasha was really friendly and took her time with my hair to make sure everything was perfect. After being to a few salons and not receiving what I wanted, I will never go to another salon apart from this one again! Loved the result and can’t wait to return. 10/10.

About us

The Hair Emporium is a family-owned brand led by two generations of passionate hairstylists.

Anne McPherson and daughter, Sallyanne, combined their ambition of opening a hair salon together in the summer of 1990.

The duo decided it was the ideal time having both previously owned successful salons. Anne relocated her creative team to Sallyanne’s Studio5 and The Hair Emporium was born.

Now, for nearly three decades The Hair Emporium has focused on delivering the highest quality of hair design and client service. To ensure unfaltering standards, Anne and Sallyanne have personally trained all members of our creative teams.
