As a long time customer of KH Hair I can't recommend Jane and her team highly enough. I have always been made to feel welcome and my hair looks and feels fantastic! Extremely covid safe and have no concerns about visiting the salon. Excellent!

Phew! Got in by the skin of my teeth before lockdown 2.0. (long standing appointment)! Once again it was safety all the way. Melissa and Molly are just fab! As are Jane and Hayley of course! Lovely team who are working so hard to keep clients safe and reassured in these strange times. All the extra effort is much appreciated. Let’s hope this closure is only short. Thanks ladies. From the moment you walk in and to when you leave the Mansfield salon , you are treated to a an exceptionally, high level of professional , friendly and welcoming service . I can highly recommend Melissa for her expertise in colour , cut and perfect finish and love her friendly banter . The salon always without exception has a very friendly vibe and atmosphere to it . The covid awareness and protection the salon owner Jane has put in place is second to none and makes you feel completely safe . I wouldn’t use any other salon .

Melissa is a fab stylist she always makes me feel at ease and does an amazing job of styling/cutting my hair. The cleanliness and sanitising is outstanding they are going above and beyond to make sure they follow guidelines

Great haircut! This is the most covid secure place I go to! Even more than our health centre!
Door us open for you on arrival so you don’t touch it. Sanitiser supplies, temperature taken on arrival , Handbag put in a bag, coat kept separately . Screens up between sinks, staff wearing visors and masks, and equipment especially sterilised !
So very well done for developing these measures and maintaining them day in day out!

Excellent hairdressers. Hair cuts, colour and styling advice to perfection. Very professional yet friendly. Always clean with excellent hygiene procedures in place. Regular patch tests where necessary. Feel very safe in Jane's hands. Can just relax and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.

My hair is amazing, as it always is with Jane’s cut. COVID restrictions are still very much in place and I felt very safe and comfortable in the salon. They are all working very hard to keep us safe.

Jane usually does my hair but was unavailable. Melissa did it instead and did a very good job. She followed my wishes and went to great lengths to cut it as i wanted.

Having seen the new colours on the KH Facebook page i was keen to try and for something new ! Jane did my normal blonde but layered in a pink perfectly - and I love it! Cut and colour - I’d go nowhere else!

The salon is covid secure and I felt safe throughout. All procedures followed with the same cheerful friendliness of the team.

I was really impressed with the efforts to make the salon covid secure. Nothing had been forgotten about from checking temperatures, providing straws for water and digital magazines. These are testing times but the usual fantastic service was provided and all with smiles on the teams faces.

Second visit since re-opening. Everyone has worked so hard to make sure all measures are in place. Definitely feels safe! Definitely feels fab to have my hair back to normal!!! Thank you Melissa for another great cut! You are all superstars!!!

Oh my goodness, I’ve only just realised I didn’t complete this review!
Ok, so I excitedly visited the salon for my appointment on 14 July 2020, just over a week after reopening and exactly 5 months since my last visit. For someone who usually has her hair cut every six weeks, like many others couldn’t wait for Hayley to get her hands on my hair.
I had cracked 2.5 months into lockdown and used a home colour ( my bad) I took full responsibility for my stupidity but still think Boris should take some of the blame! The girls were very understanding and I visited the salon 3 days prior to my planned appointment and had a consultation with Hayley and a patch test. Luckily I had not done too much damage to my tresses ( but I promise never to deviate from the salon colour again!) and thankfully I was able to return to my usual colour.
So, back to the day if my appointment...
As a nurse, I have been used to the COVID-19 ‘rules’ and PPE guidance for quite some time so adhering to these and wearing masks all day long is second nature to me now but it’s does take some getting used to, I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of all the staff from the moment I entered the salon, temperature checks, sanitiser available on entry , polite request to wear a mask / mask provided for those who didn’t have one. masks / visors/ gloves work continuously by all staff. The environment was appropriately socially distanced, clean and continuously sanitised. Despite all of this, the atmosphere remained friendly and upbeat.
Oh and my hair? Well as ever the colour is awesome and the cut fantastic ! Cheers Hayley and the rest of the ‘gang’ keep up the good work and stay safe ? xxx

Melissa did a brilliant job again. I’d left my hair a bit longer after the lockdown but couldn’t get on with it even though she’d cut it really well, my new cut is fabulous - I feel like me again!

Felt really safe coming to the salon, all the covid precautions were excellent and made me confident. My hair looked amazing as it always does whenever I come here. Really friendly staff, brilliant experience everytime.
