KH Hair Salon Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire

Had to change time for appointment at last minute due to family commitment and Ashleigh was great fitting me in . Great colour and finish too.

Slick and smooth welcome followed by efficient and friendly wash, cut and blow dry. Amber was chatty during wash and gave a good head massage. Had to ask for a coffee but we were probably sidetracked by catch up chat!!

Everything I’ve come to expect from Ashleigh - friendly, listens, makes suggestions, & most importantly knows my hair ! Always a great experience visiting the Salon.

Lovely friendly staff as always. New girl Amber (?) did an excellent head massage and is a very friendly young girl … the whole experience is like going to see friends, not have your hair done !

Went in for my regular colour and cut but had to own up to a problem with dry brittle hair. Ashleigh spent time getting to the cause of the problem and together with Maxine worked out a plan to deal with it and I was given some advice on how to keep my hair in good condition.
Came out with my hair looking and feeling great. Result!!

I’ve been using this salon for a number of years now and have never been disappointed by the quality of cut and colour provided by both Victoria and Maxine - in addition the salon is managed so professionally and everyone there is friendly and courteous- I look forward to every appointment!

As always Maxine has worked her magic on my hair. She knows exactly how to create the best style for me and I'm very happy with the result.

Ashleigh slotted me in at the last minute when my stylist was off poorly. She did a great job colouring my hair and reorganising things so I didn’t have to rearrange my appointment.

I have not been coming to the salon for long, but each time I do, I feel like a valued customer. I like the way in which Victoria cuts, colour and styles my hair. She understands my needs.

Ashleigh always delivers, hair cutting, styling and colour are all good. There's a nice, friendly atmosphere in the salon too.

I am just so upset beyond words to what’s been done to my hair.
I have spent so much time explaining how terrified I am of having it cut & how to cut my hair the best way, where my parting is & how less is more because my hair will react to over cutting & the worst case has happened. Over cutting into it leaving me with uneven & damaged hair, back at square one terrified to have it cut but it needs fixing & it’s going to take another year to get it back to the good condition I had got it in.
I honestly wanted to write a happy review because after I came back last time for it to be cut where my parting is it was lovely. You’ve taken away my length on one side & my sides are now longer then my back. The worst part is, it didn’t even need cutting, I just went on the advice I was given.
I just wish hairdressers listened to customer as we know our own hair.
On top of everything else I have going on, I didn’t need this upset.
Let’s hope someone can make me feel at ease to fix the mess it’s in a little.

As usual,a good experience with professional approach

I visited KH Newark to get my hair coloured and trimmed, I had not been to a hairdressers for a few years so I had lots of root regrowth and a bad DIY bleach job on the ends of my hair. Victoria did such a fantastic job to fix my hair. She did a balayage to blend the roots in with the ends and make the colour look more natural. She was thorough and made sure I was okay with each step. I really love my new hair, it feels healthier and looks fantastic. I will definitely be going again!
