Came in for a cut and blow dry with Olivia, i showed her a couple of pictures I wanted my hair to look like. She was so friendly and lovely to chat to. She talked me through each process of my hair appointment, what products she was using and what she was doing. I was able to ask questions, advice and Olivia's opinions about my hair. I'll definitely be back again! ❤️

A lovely atmosphere in the salon. All the staff seem happy and smile lots. Chloe listened to what I wanted and then offered me refreshments. I had a wash, cut and blow dry. My hair looked great. Just what I wanted. Chloe is professional and has fab customer service skills too.

I always receive an amazing service experience with Chloe!! She listens to what I would like, but is always honest with me if she thinks it may not suit me, and we will discuss it together, which I love!! I was quite emotional this visit as my best friend had passed away, Chloe was so good with me, she hugged me when I needed it, got me tissues for my tears. Chloe was brilliant!! I have been using Toni and Guy for as long as I can remember. I have been going to the Toni and Guy in Newark since recently moving to Nottinghamshire. Olivia is my stylist and she is so good at what she does. I am just not happy with how much I was charged during my last visit. In my last visit there I went for my usual to get my roots done and they charged me £125!!! I have been going there since about March time and it’s always been between £75 - £85 to get my roots and a colour refresh with blow dry which is about the same price in my old Salon. In June I had a wash, cut and blow dry including colour I paid £115 for everything. Then suddenly out of no where I got charged a hefty £125 for just roots colour refresh. When I asked they said they had to use extra colour plus for the blow dry. Breakdown given for colour £68, blow dry £32 and extra colour £25!!! I feel I’ve been ripped off by T&G in Newark. I’ve always had my hair blow dried before. And what’s the extra colour for when I go for my roots to the same salon every 8 to 12 weeks! I don’t think I will use the Newark branch anymore. It’s not worth that much money.

I’m sorry to hear you weren’t happy with the price of your service this time.

As you can imagine the price of our materials has substantially risen recently and we have to charge for extra colour used on thick/ longer hair as sometimes we have to use twice the amount. This is explained on our price list.

I completely understand if you want to lower your cost, we do have ways to do this. If you’d like we could book you in for an express blow dry with our apprentice next time and rather than having a root to tip colour like you did last time we could just apply colour to your root area which would use less colour.

Give me a call at the salon if you’d like to discuss this, we’ll do all we can to accommodate you, we’d hate to lose you as a client.

My stylist Chloe is absolutely amazing, I absolutely love getting my hair done with her. I've gone to having short hair, Chloe always listens to my ideas for what I would like, but is always honest with me if it will suit me, which I love. We have a good laugh together, and I always feel like a million dollars when I walk out. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my hair done!!! Love the atmosphere in the salon. What a superstar !
Cant thank you enough for giving me exactly what I asked for , wish you did facelifts too , but the hair is great .
