Visited KH yesterday for a much awaited visit and it was definitely worth the wait.Gill worked her magic, as usual, and made me feel amazing. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating, and that’s why I’d never go anywhere else! And haven’t for the last 15 years. Amazing salon, amazing service, amazing Gill! ?

I had my first appointment since lockdown (and also since having my baby!) with Jess on the 28th April and I’m in love with my hair again! I’ve been coming to KH hair for over 10 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jess did a fantastic job and I always come away loving my colour and cut, it’s lovely to have a chat and a catch up too! I’ve been coming to KH throughout covid and have always felt completely safe and well taken care of. All of the staff take ppe and cleanliness seriously while at the same time giving a warm welcome during your visit. I’m so pleased they’re back open where they belong!

Amber was very lovely, talkative and did a lovely job with my hair. Possibly my favourite hair colour I’ve had done! The salon and staff are very professional, which just adds to the lovely environment.

Due to my anxieties around getting my hair cut, I naturally did my stalking around the Internet for reviews, pictures, and all that jazz. KH Hair was really well reviewed and now I can see why. I've broken my review into sections as this really helped me when deciding on a salon!

Service: Overall, I think the service was very professional. My hairdresser was Amber and after explaining my horror stories from previous experiences, she made me feel at ease right away. Amber really listened and took the time to explain things which I really valued as a client. The other thing that really stood out to me was that she asked of I was allergic to any products etc. I've never been asked this before but thought it was a great touch. If I was to be really picky, I would say the actual receptionist that day could have been a little cheerier but otherwise a solid experience!

Value: I paid £52 for my wash, cut, and dry which I would be more than happy to pay every time. I've paid much more for far less.

Result: My hair was so long so getting 6+ inches chopped off was massive for me BUT I could not have been more happy with the result. Amber was constantly checking in with me to see if I was happy with the length, wanted it shorter, or more framing etc.

Cleanliness: The salon was very clean and due to the current rules in place and extra measures taken because of covid, I would say I felt very safe whilst there too.

Atmosphere: I think the atmosphere was again overall professional. If I was to be very picky, I'd only have one thing to say. They have a hair washing station with a few people working there. Sometimes I would catch them just staring which made me feel a bit awkward but to be honest this is probably just my own anxieties and not the fault of the salon.

I would definitely go back to KH Hair Nottingham and highly recommend Amber as your hairdresser.

Relaxed atmosphere very covid secure which is reassuring for those who are anxious about returning to the salon .
Michelle is a brilliant and intuitive stylist so I left feeling more like my usual self

It was so lovely to get back into the salon yesterday. As always Steve worked his magic. Steve can never do enough to make sure his clients are happy and especially after so long away it was great to come in and put myself in his capable hands - plus have a good catch up! Normally high standard of work, respect, products, environment was maintained as expected from this professional and friendly salon.

Usual delightful salon experience. Relaxing few hours chatting and relaxing, and the grey is gone.

Very pleased after my long awaited cut and colour. 4 complete strangers have commented on my hair besides my family - all very complimentary!

I visited for a skin test yesterday evening in preparation for my appointment at a later date.
The receptionist was so lovely and accommodating - she even came out to me to carry out the skin test as I was struggling for parking, great service :)

Emily was lovely. My ‘lockdown’ hair was more than horrendous. The outcome was amazing! I had been nervous that there was no way to rectify or improve my awful attempt at home colour but she took it really seriously and came up with a correction plan. Really delighted that Jess does my hair! It always looks great. However I left my previous salon because there were always 2 people working on my hair which makes the experience not as personal. Can we keep it to one stylist?

When complete strangers approach you and comment on how good your hair looks, you know you have the best stylist - Sean’s cut my hair for several years - his cutting skills, knowledge, vast experience and attention to the tiniest detail is second to none. You just know you’re going to look your best.

KH must be the best Salon in Nottingham, friendly staff, great atmosphere and exceptional customer service. What more could you want?
