Because of numerous health issues this was my first cut and colour in 20 months! I can’t tell you how I felt - I cried on the way home because I felt so emotional. Felt like a new woman. Thank you so much Steve!!

I went to the salon with my brother who was in need of a male haircut and he wanted to go somewhere that felt safer than barbers. Right from the get go I could see how safe and serious this salon is taking the covid and social distancing situation. When booking over the phone we were informed to wait outside, wear a mask and to bring a bag to put our jackets in. On arrival I was greeted by Jack who has been looking after my hear for over a year now. I had my temperature checked and asked to use an automatic hand sanitiser on arrival. I was sat away from others, and service was as wonderful as it has always been, prior to covid at KH. Staff are super friendly here and take customers welfare and their own staff welfare seriously. It was so nice to see Jack again, he has literally been amazing, I feel very lucky to have him look after my hair, he looks at the health of my hair, the colour and the style and suggests what would work best for my hair in every appointment. I honestly love coming to this salon. I always walk away smiling with my new hair and feeling very happy!! So glad to have found this wonderful place and to have found Jack. :)

Roisin was fantastic, clearly knew her stuff and my hair turned out exactly as I had hoped. I had a traumatic hair experience before and Roisin was very understanding and sorted me right out! Roisin is very friendly and professional. I have recommended her to my mother who is notoriously difficult to please so we’ll see what she says but I feel confident! Yesterday, Monday 10th August 2020 was my first visit to KH Hair Salons, Castle Gate, Nottingham, before lockdown was imposed during March 2020. I was understandably feeling apprehensive beforehand. But felt very reassured by the friendly welcome after I had been asked to wait outside to be called in. And all of the procedures that followed. i.e. taking my temperature and the main door being opened for me so that I didn't have to touch any surfaces. I also MASSIVELY appreciated that the hand Sanitiser available was one that recognised movement so you didn't have to use your palm to press down hard. I appreciated that there was a lot of space around me throughout and it was very nice to see Joy again, having not seen her literally for over 5/6 Months. Joy is an extremely talented Professional Stylist and even as she was cutting my hair I could feel that because it started to feel lighter and automatically had more movement, than before, that "this" would go a long way to helping me through all of these current times. I have been coming to KH Hair (previously known as Keith Hall) for many decades. And to Joy in particular. I can only say how hugely impressed and reassured I felt after my visit yesterday. Hats off to K H Hair and everybody involved in it all for going above and beyond for your Clients. It really is HUGELY appreciated. Would like to express my thanks for your Colleagues on the front desk who were so welcoming, efficient, professional, friendly, & extremely helpful. All of this goes a long way to helping reassure and is hugely appreciated. Thank you so much, everybody at KH Hair for being open during these beyond challenging times. I’ve been coming to Ruth for years. She is the most amazing personality and so great at her job. I love coming to see her, my hair always looks so good after her magic touch. She really knows her stuff and has taught me how to look after my hair from being a student. I always feel so welcome when I visit the Castlegate branch. Everyone is so lovely and hardworking. The receptionists are so lovely and always look after me.Ruth always knows exactly what I want and really cares about the health of your hair. She is so efficient and I always feel amazing when she’s finished with me. It’s really a lovely trip to come and see your friends. I’m really impressed how great the COVID safety measures, nothing to worry about you’ll feel very safe. I really liked how the salon called me as a long standing customer to book in an appointment after COVID lockdown was lifted. In summary amazing staff, very talented hair dressers, great atmosphere and clean!

Emily outdid herself yet again last time she coloured my hair. She got it to the most perfect blonde shade with a root melt and my hair has never felt softer, healthier, and looked as nice as it does since she’s been colouring it. Can’t recommend enough and i don’t think i could ever go anywhere else. Recommend to everyone, Emily is amazing!!

I felt like Rose from Titanic,it had been 84 years... a true transformation , my hair looks completely different and so healthy. Worth 5 hours in the salon and every penny. Mary is my go to hairdresser now! Thank you KH!

It was different because of the pandemic, but I felt very safe, looked after and of course as always I had a great cut and blow dry by Gill. The salon is Covid safe and I will be returning soon.

I felt some intrepidation heading out after lockdown but KH Nottingham did everything so perfectly. I felt so safe and comfortable and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. My hair, as always, was done perfectly.

It was lovely yesterday coming back to the salon. From the greeting at the door and enthusiasm of Mary bringing my hair back to life through to the screens between wash stations making it felt a wonderfully private and personal experience. I was apprehensive coming back but put at ease by everyone and everything in the salon. Thank you.

Emily is genuinely the best hairdresser I’ve had whilst living in Nottingham the past 5 years! She listens to exactly what you want and gets it right every time. The blend for my balayage is seamless, the colour perfect and she really listens to how much you want cut off! I would highly highly recommend her- I will be coming back to her from London as I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!!!

Managed to book in at short notice, everyone was very organised with their safety arrangements and made me feel comfortable. Jack was really friendly and made you feel at ease as he sorted my hair (hadn't been cut for a year so needed work!) - never felt rushed and took time to style it all and make it look perfect- really pleased. Also recommended some products for me and provided some samples of others to try with it. Love KH service and quality:)
