Good stylists, shame about the management attitude
I've been going to this salon for many years, we all get used to the person who cuts our hair, and Lauren is an excellent stylist, and Laura knows her stuff about colour. However, occasionally the service is less than acceptable, but heaven help you if you dare to complain. The salon owners really need to go on a course to learn more about customer service. When things go wrong, it's not ok to blame the client for not being more amenable. Say sorry. Say you will make sure to do better next time. It's an expensive place, and I don't mind paying for good service, but if there's no water in the salon, it's not rocket science to make sure the receptionist informs clients before they sit down. The first I knew about it was when my colour was being rinsed and it felt not quite right....... turns out she was rinsing me off with a jug and bucket of luke warm water. It felt like a trip back to hair washes in the 1970's at the kitchen sink, not something you'd want to pay £80 for at an expensive salon. Christophe made things ten times worse by phoning me up after I had complained in the salon, I thought to apologise, but actually it was to rant at ME for being 'uncompassionate'. Sheesh. I warn you, particularly if you're dealing with illness or bereavement, and you just want to feel pampered for an hour or so, don't go to this salon. You come out feeling worse than when you went in, and a wedge of money lighter.
