Had my first haircut since lockdown. They’ve taken lots of covid precautions (sterilising tools, giving you a clean gown and mask etc) and it all felt very safe. The hairstylist was Melissa, she was friendly did a really good job!

I absolutely love my new hairstyle. It is even better that I had hoped it would be. I felt that the stylist took a lot of time over each step and ensured that everything was just right for me.

The salon was busy and well-organised. The COVID measures that had been put in place were impressive and I felt very safe.

I had my first haircut today with Tony & Guy and my hairdresser was Melissa ? She did an amazing job cutting my hair from long to short. I really love the result and it’s exactly as I wanted them to look.

Couldn’t recommend this salon enough, I have Gemma and Lauren for colour and cut and they always do such an amazing job. The whole team are so welcoming and friendly too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, thank you!

The salon was spotless and every care had been taken to keep it COVID free. As always I was very pleased with my hair colour and impressed with the professional yet friendly attention I received from all the Toni n Guy staff.

I absolutely loved my cut! Please give Melissa a raise. She was an amazing company and was great at her job. She is an asset to Toni&Guy!

Stylists I spoke to spoke to me in an irritated manner during consultation and the result of my colour was unsatisfactory as it wasn't what I asked for despite showing pictures. I was repeatedly told I wouldn't get the colour I wanted as I wanted to go too light with my high lights. The end result came out much lighter and was poorly toned. There was not a good blend of colour between my base color and the highlights and . Hair was not finished professionally as the stylist said she was only allowed to blast dry the hair and no straighteners could be used. £169 for a colour I could have achieved at home for £7, I didn't tell them I hated the colour as I just couldn't wait to get out of there.

Another fabulous cut; LC is always happy to suggest small changes if asked so that you feel confident with your choices. She is totally dependable, enthusiastic and upbeat. All the staff are friendly. The salon takes the safety guidelines seriously.

Safety and style
Very well organised COVID-19 safety PPE. I was greeted with a sanitised bag of my personal towel, gown and new mask. Track and trace information was collected on arrival. All staff were seen to be wearing both shield and mask and Reception were wearing gloves. Once all the safety regulation had been put in place, I enjoyed a very normal pampering and great haircut that I have always received from Marianne at Toni & Guy, George Street, Oxford.

My hairdresser, Chris, was by far the best hairdresser I have met and in particular he is very good at understanding how a customer wishes hair to be styled.

I wasn’t very specific about what I wanted but I described it as best as I could. Melissa went above and beyond to ensure I left there feeling happy. My hair has a new lease of life and I feel amazing. All staff I encountered were really friendly and approachable and followed the new Covid-19 health and safety guidelines accordingly. The salon was very clean and tidy. 10/10 experience. Thank you.

I had a cut and blow dry yesterday at T&G Oxford. I was booked in with Jaime and was vert with my cut. The whole experience was excellent, I felt safe and everyone was friendly and helpful. Five stars from me!

I was slightly anxious about returning to the salon but felt immediately at ease thanks to the reception staff, Laura, and by the girls who washed and dried my hair. I have been coming to see Laura for about 15 years and she always makes me look better and feel better.

I always come here for my haircuts and I have always left happy with the result. Not this time. I asked for a simple straight cut and once the hair was dry it was very visible that one side was longer that the other. The hairdresser tried to fix it and he did mostly however when I got home my friends and I noticed that he left a longer strand of hair in the front and I had to cut it myself to the same length of the rest. Considering the price I payed I wouldn’t expect to fix my own hair at home. I am quite disappointed not sure that I will come back.

It was my first trip to the hairdresser in a long time so I was very nervous. The stylist knew exactly what I was asking for, made appropriate suggestions and made me feel comfortable. Did a wonderful job on my hair too. Thank you!

Chris did a fantastic job. My hair is a tough one to straighten and I’ve been let down a number of times at other salons. Chris has an incredible talent and was so patient, methodical and thorough in his approach. I’d happily go back to him again and again.

Fabulous cut. Really takes time to get every detail perfect.

Exceptionally high PPE in place. All staff friendly, professional and accommodating, particularly as I’d only phoned up on the day.. I can’t remember the stylist name but he was the tall gorgeous guy with the grey curly hair ?
More expensive than I normally pay for a blow dry but I was grateful they fitted me in as it was my birthday !

I was quite distress before I get there , on the chair ,but waiting my turn I saw another hair arranged andI saw the stylist who inspired me a thrust ,comfort and reassurance.
I was first time to Tony &guy Solon and I wish to believe that finally I have found a stylist to arrange my hair.

Superb service

Went in feeling a little tired came out feeling a million dollars. Hair was perfect stylist extremely friendly but very professional about how she was handling the Covid situation. A very pleasant experience.
