My first David Maxwell experience and it won't be my last. A really lovely salon, great stylist (Lewis) and fantastic cut. Highly recommended!

I was welcomed as soon I stepped inside. The staff were friendly, polite and engaged. The stylist was professional and not pushy, she did an excellent job and I'm really pleased with the blow-dry. Would recommend.

I old David I was thinking of going short next time in my consultation today and showed him some photos on my iPad. Went for it today and David expertly cut and styled my hair giving me a new look for the summer. Very pleased with the result.

My aunt and I were visiting Bath and wanted to get our hair washed and blow-dried. We chose the salon as it was near the hotel and independently owned. We could not be more delighted with the results! Natasha was knowledgeable and friendly, the salon was spotlessly clean, and our hair looked amazing afterwards. We even got a free head massage during the blow-drying process! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service at an affordable price. They are definitely worth a visit. This is the second time Maisie has cut my 11 year old daughters hair and she is fantastic. She has done the most amazing haircut but is also kind and patient and gives her the most lovely experience. Excellent service.

David takes the time to find out exactly what I want and I have always been delighted with the result. My hair is usually cut into a bob style. A good cut means that I am able to easily blowdry it myself as it falls naturally into place. The salon is smart and relaxing, good and friendly service. Would highly recommend.

I have been to many hairdressers during my 60+ years and I rate David Maxwell’s salon in the very top few.
Superb hairdressers who really listen to you, fabulous products, delightful assistants, stunning salon in a convenient and elegant location, relaxed ambience, clean as a whistle with free drinks, little sweet delicacies and fresh flowers. Also an abundance of current reading material… What more can I say!

I enjoyed another exemplary experience at David Maxwell’s salon today. They just get things ‘right’ on every level for me. The staff respect that I’ll probably still be working and yet we still manage to enjoy delightful conversation, David included despite his busyness. It is truly hard to list all the wonderful things about it but I shall try. Wonderful central Bath location, genuinely friendly skilled staff, thoughtfully presented beverages of a high standard and wide variety, then on top of that the most caring and thoughtful service. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon highly enough and that’s why I return.

David is a perfectionist. He knows how to cut really well and listens to what you’re after. Great head massage too. Highly recommend.

I had a cut and blowdry. I thought the salon was amazing. Nice and clean. I recieved a coffee and cake bite, a head massage and very friendly service. I will be back and will recommend my friends.

Always feel welcome and special, love the tray with drinks (coffee, tea in a proper tea pot etc) with a small piece of flapjack and a vase of flowers plus a coaster with your name on. Masie is good , I had a bad experience with a hairdresser and Masie is trying to sort me out she is very patient with me.

I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked in.
Louis was attentive and caring. I felt very relaxed and pampered and it was great to talk with David and Natalie who feel more like old friends than ever.

Monday morning...had a headache, felt fed up and hair looking bad!
Was very fortunate to walk past the salon and noticed the A - board outside, saying there were walk in appointments available...so I walked in!
I then had a helpful conversation about what was needed, followed by hair wash, head massage and a great cut to get me back on track. I have already booked my next appointment. Thank you so much David.

Lewis is just fantastic. I tried elsewhere as I moved house but it’s worth coming back to Bath just so he can cut my hair as he always gets it perfect. Recommended him to other people and they are equally as pleased as I am. Happy customer as always.

I have normally had a good positive experience but unfortunately I was really unhappy with my hair this time. The colour was all over my sculp st the front so I had to go straight home and wash my hair again and the dry wasn’t good - it wasn’t properly dry or straightened well at all.

Popped in on spec and despite busy salon I was accommodated straight away for a pre holiday blow dry with a special K18 conditioner. Not cheap but great results. Team always friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
