Had my hair cut in to a bob by *****, I specifically requested what I wanted, even had a photo. A razor sharp bob with no graduation. She spent very little time on a haircut that appears to be easy, but is in fact one of the hardest to get right. When I got home even my bf noticed that it was much longer on one side.
I called back up and expressed that my hair didn't seem right, staff were lovely and offered to do it again for free with Bella, who is great at bobs,
Anyway, had my bob cut even shorter and said at the end that I still felt it looked uneven, especially at the back but was assured that this wasn't the case, it was just how I was looking at it.
Had my haircut by my usual salon and they confirmed before I even said anything that my hair was completely lobsided, the back even more so.
I cannot believe that a salon with such high prices can't even correct a bob on the second attempt.
Have been going to essensuals for 6 years now, am completely baffled that this happened.

When I had my hair cut at Essensuals Bath I was made to feel very welcome by the whole team, especially Nikki on front of house. This was complemented by the little details like the very pleasant surroundings and the offer of refreshments. Shannon did a good job washing my hair, chatting with me and setting me at my ease. And then there was Catherine, the owner and manager of Essensuals Bath. Catherine is clearly very good at what she does and managed to make me look much better than I did when I initially walked in! I cannot recommend Bath Essensuals highly enough – the whole experience, from walking in to the salon, through to leaving with a professional hair cut by a true expert, was wonderful! I’ve been coming to this salon for 3 years now and the reason I keep returning is because of the high quality haircutting aswell as genuinely friendly staff and the calm & relaxing atmosphere. Layla goes above and beyond with her services, not just with me but all her clients.
She gets it right every single time with her style techniques and knows what I like and what I don't.
She always remembers what's going on in my life so it's like going to hang out with a friend who at the end makes you look and feel beautiful.
I'm always really impressed with the different textures she cuts in my hair and the shaping she does.

As a regular visitor to Bath I thought it might be nice to have a quick hair do. What a mistake! From the moment I entered the salon I was treated with indifference and felt that my treatment reflected the price of the service. End result - frizzy hair! Will not be returning.

An oasis of calm, coffee and cake on a busy Saturday afternoon.

My highlights are excellent, given the challenge that I set Charlotte to take my colour back from over bleached and sun dried blond to warm honey was met and my expectation exceeded. It looks so natural.

However, the real gem is Catherine, whose cuts are the best in the West and beyond. My tired hair now has a sharp cut and is full of body and movement.

I love the style that is very versatile and can be styled smooth and smart or messy and modern. Give it a go, because you won't be disappointed.

I'm slways so happy with my colour and styling. It's the best hair salon. Thank you x

I was a visitor to Bath and called in on the offf chance that a therapist might be available for the above. There was and she was excellent.. very caring and competent.. She didn't rush and did a super job. I was most impressed.

Had to have my hair washed in freezing cold water as hot water wasn't working. Hairdresser didn't listen to what I wanted and when they did only did half a job so outcome was awful. Have had to go to another hairdresser since.

The salon is lovely and peaceful on a Sunday and I was further relaxed by my Head Spa treatment. so pleased with my cut and colour by Charlotte
