I was staying in a hotel in Congresbury and decided to see if there was anywhere in the area that could fit me in for a hair cut. After finding broad street hair and beauty I popped in on the off chance and luckily there a space later in the day. I haven’t been to a hair salon for a number of years (10+) so was understandable a little nervous and also a bit embarrassed as I knew my hair was not in a good state but needn’t have been at all as all of the staff were so lovely and welcoming. I have very thick, course hair which needs a lot of TLC which I don’t give it although I know I should. I would just stick it up in a claw clip to keep it tucked away and very rarely wore it down.
Gemma welcomed me and we talked about what I wanted done. We discussed the style and then she cut, layered, dried and straightened my hair. She was so lovely and gave me advice on how to care for it. The cut she gave me was incredible and my hair felt so light and soft which is what I’ve always wanted. I left the salon feeling like a new person and couldn’t wait to get changed to go out for the evening to show off my lovely hair. My husband was very impressed and kept complementing me all evening.
I live nearly 2 hrs away but will be travelling back to get my hair cuts from now on…….that’s how much I loved the whole experience. I’ve also asked Gemma to colour my hair as I’ve been doing it myself for years but know that it needs doing properly.
I can honestly say that I love my hair and I’ve not said that for many years!
I would very much recommend this salon and will be visiting again many times.

I am autistic and ADHD, so I can find going to the hairdresser quite overwhelming particularly if I'm not 100%. After not making my appointment time due to stress, the salon happily fit me in a couple of hours later and were so accommodating. I felt very calm and relaxed.
Plus, my cut is gorgeous. The whole experience has honestly dragged me out of my slump and made my day. Big thank you!

This was my first visit and I was very that I went. Dan is a professional and very skilled stylist with great ideas and a very relaxing way of being. The whole experience of having a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry was so good. I felt relaxed and cared for the whole time. I’ve already booked my next visit!

Dan is a very knowledgeable and skilled stylist, especially for clients with short hair. His pleasant confident manner made this session enjoyable with excellent results.

Hair cut was great, but i do think for the price of a hair cut now that a drink should be offered. A hair cut is a treat and a pamper and being offered a drink is all part of that. There was any music playing today which is unusual but adds to a nice atmosphere.

Dan did a fabulous cut and colour on my hair today. Even braved a fringe for the first time in years. 100% trust in Dan. Thanks

As usual great service

Although the cut was fine (just a trim my on daughter's long straight one length hair), I was disappointed that her hair wasn't dried before we left (only a quick blast was given).
Also felt a bit more enthusiasm was needed for the wonderful young girl who came in for her appointment as we were paying, she wanted to donate her hair to charity. It seemed that neither hairdresser wanted to do it. Left feeling a bit sad for her. Will try another branch next time.

After a long and expensive appointment of foils, cut and blow dry, I got home to have it pointed out to me that the roots were awfully patchy and unmatched on either side of my parting, giving the impression I’d already been growing out the highlights for several weeks. I was sad and disappointed that the hairdresser had sent me home with the top of my head in such a state, just hoping I wouldn’t notice.
