I had a fantastic time at Sands Waterloo Gardens Cardiff! I had a full style change, going with the new wolfcut! I also had my already silver hair brightened so it looked whiter on top and the black colour put in underneath. The contrast looks amazing and the cut is so fun and much lighter to manage. I an very happy! Sarah did a great job!! All the staff were all very kind and good to talk to and I was offered lovely drinks with a nice little biscuit, as well as if I needed anything like a magazine while I waited for the colour to develop. I had a wonderful relaxed time and will be going back! I would highly recommend them!

Ceri excelled as usual and my request for the colour to be toned down was executed brilliantly. Thanks also to Ian!

Always an amazing experience

I recently had one of my regular appointments with Carole at Sands. Lovely hair wash, cut and blow dry and hand and arm massage. All the team are unfailingly welcoming. Looking forward to next appointment!

The whole team is great, Sarah gave me an amazing haircut. Everyone at the front desk are lovely (Josh, the nice girl with auburn hair). This mom was very grateful for some me time.

Color and cut with Ceri she always gets my color just right with a brilliant blow dry. Warm welcome from Laura who makes sure I have all my future appointments and well looked after.

Stuart was great, very professional, excellent haircut, the whole experience was excellent!

Usually a great cut but this time it was an uneven bob style and I had to go back to correct this . No real apology was given to me. Disappointing .

After a consultation, Ian coloured my hair beautifully. I had an amazing hand and arm massage with Aveda products. Ian then trimmed my hair with great care and then straightening to check his cut. He finished with defined curls. I felt very special in the salon with all the staff most attentive and went out feeling 💯 glamorous!

I had the most amazing experience at SANDS with Alex. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Alex took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions based on my hair type. The cut turned out absolutely perfect! I left feeling more confident and loving my hair more than I ever have. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. This was my first time visiting Sands - I had a great experience. A lot of hairdresser's aren't very experienced at cutting curly hair, but Olivia was excellent and she really knew what she was doing. I loved that she used curly products, used a diffuser and didn't totally dry it (so that it didn't go frizzy!). For the first time in a long time, I was really happy with the end result. Thanks so much!

Olivia was absolutely flawless. The most throughout cut and blow dry and took time to really understand my hair. The wash and head massage was next level and I felt extremely relaxed.

I always love my experience at Sands. Everyone is lovely and I leave feeling rejuvenated and almost like I've been at a spa but with fabulous hair! It is pricey but I think it's definitely worth it!

I had a great time at the salon today. Lovely head massage, nice cup of coffee, sorted some work emails, had a great chat with Beni whilst she was cutting my hair, and I left looking (and feeling) cool! Thanks Beni!

Going to this salon is such a good experience. A big shout out to my lovely stylist Alex, who is both an excellent hairdresser and brilliant company during the appointment. A very skilled, careful and accomplished stylist who gives a great cut and is also great to talk to. Complimentary between cut, fringe trims are included. Also excellent wash, head massage and arm massage from Ian and very helpful and cheery welcome from Josh. In fact everyone in the salon is very welcoming, friendly and professional. Thank you all.
