Visited Sands for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Best cut and style I've had in years. I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else again. Thanks Stuart.

The care and attention the staff at this salon provides to its clients is second to none that I have experienced and at 53 I have experienced quite a few in my time. From the moment one enters the salon you are treated like a first class passenger plus the added bonus is that this salon only uses AVEDA products which are NOT tested on animals and are kind to the environment!!

Fab - was totally pampered with a nice head and arm massage. Carol was very attentive and I left the Salon feeling wonderful.

I recently had my hair cut at sands. The whole experience is a bit of a treat. The cut was really good and it felt great to be listened to by the stylist.

Every time you'll get a warm welcome, a drink and a hairdresser who knows what they are doing. You may even get a head massage and hand massage! Total pampering! Lovely & clean and a great atmosphere with very friendly staff!

I’ve been going to Sands for about 13 years now. Fabulous friendly and talented staff. Always pleased with my hair. Love the products. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else ! Thanks guys

Really lovely atmosphere and very relaxing expereience. Absolutely love my colour by Jasmin. Having previously badly damaged my hair bleaching, I was really happy with my full head of bleach highlights. My hair feels very soft and looks well nourished, whilst also achieveing the high lift, cool tone that I wanted to achieve. Jasmin made me feel very relaxed and at ease. Would definitely recommend.

Warm friendly atmosphere. Amazing staff and products. Offer of an express manicure for £10, a mince pie and a lovely scalp massage. Love my hair.

Friendly professional service. Extremely nice mince pies and coffee too! Regularly use the salon and Kaye always does a great cut and colour on my hair.

Had a great experience in this lovely salon. Was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary head massage they offered before hair wash. Jasmine did a lovely job of hair cut and styling. I am happy!

I had a wonderful cut, and overall experience at Sands. They went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and pampered- offering a head massage on arrival and a hands and arms massage whilst getting my hair cut. I was very impressed with the stylist (Carrie)- I came out with exactly what I had wanted, and she made the extra effort to trim split ends all the way up my (long) hair. My hair was also styled beautifully. I’ll definitely be going back!

Lovely stylist who I have been to before, very happy with my cut but after going home not at all happy with the highlights. Not what I thought I had discussed with my stylist and unfortunately I feel very disappointed. I will discuss it with her as I do not feel it was what I had asked for at all.

My first visit to Sands has been a very positive experience. Jorge was very attentive to my preferences and put a lot of thought and attention to detail, when cutting my hair. He has re-vamped and updated my look, with subtle precision.

Excellent salon providing first-class hair colouring and styling in a relaxed and friendly environment. The additions of hand and head massage are very welcome. I'm pleased to see so many young people involved in professional training too. Highly recommended.

I had my first appointment at Sands and I am so pleased with my hair. Love the cut, love the colour and just generally a really positive experience. Will definitely be going back!

Very good cut

This is now my third cut with Elisha and I am so pleased with the result,
I went for a cut and colour today and I'm happy with both,
This is the best that I have felt about my hair for a long time and I have tried a lot of the top salons in Cardiff but will continue going to sands and Elisha,

I love sands. Great salon and lovely relaxed atmosphere. My hairdresser Carrie is great she has really improved the condition of my hair and is the first hairdresser to really add a bit of shine to my rather dull mouse colour hair. She worked with a few colours and has now got a great combination going. She is great!!

Bridie at Sands is always very good. I am always accommodated at the last minute with flexible options. The little things matter about remembering my preferences of no spray,conditioning treatment and no straighteners. Staff are always friendly and welcoming . Makes one feel so much at ease.

My Daughter and I visited Sands today for full head of colour cut and finish - the results were amazing the colours so natural and quality looking - Our Stylists were exceptional in their care and understanding as to what we wanted to achieve - we were treated like princesses - I would highly recommend this Salon you will not be disappointed
