First class treatment! Hair looking lovely, perfect!, hair done by Carole, tea and mince pies, lovely staff & relaxing atmosphere.

It was my first time to Sands. I booked in for a cut/blow dry and received a head and hand massage complimentary. Amazing service, friendly staff and superior first class cut...one extremely happy and new customer. ???? my new little find and one I intend to keep.

I tried Sands as I use Aveda products at home. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my colour and my hair is in great condition. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

The whole experience at Sands is absolutely lovely. The coffee is good as is the complimentary hand and head massage. Thank you John (new dad!) for another excellent cut and colour!

I visited Sands for the first time yesterday along with my very thick and difficult hair. I saw Carrie and she did a wonderful job. I have had a succession of 4 poor cuts at 'top' salons in the last year but this time, I got a good cut! It was no problem that Carrie needed more time (i actually took up 2 appointment slots) and the overall service was really great. Will definitely be returning

My hair colour was exactly as I wanted, very friendly and genuine staff.

Late review, but I can confirm that my colour has lasted longer than I thought it would.

Friendly staff made me feel comfortable. My hairdresser listened to what I wanted, which is so important in a hairdresser. Really happy with the outcome, would definitely recommend. I also thought the salon was nice and well presented.

Stuart is an excellent hairdresser and always rises to the challenge of my color requests. He always gives great advice and I trust him to do anything he likes to my hair! I have never been disappointed.
Sands also cut my 6 month old and 2 year old's hair and they are great with them.
Lovely atmosphere and easy parking.
I highly recommend Sands.

I always love coming to Sands. The treatment is always well worth it and I'm always pleased with the quality and finish of the cut. It's taken me ages to find somewhere which cuts curly hair successfully and I've not been disappointed at Sands.

I got my colour done here and the result was very good. They were fast and sorted out a problem with prices showed on the internet without hesitation. I would advice to book on the phone as prices can be confusing on line, so you avoid any misunderstanding. Good experience in general.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Really fab atmosphere, friendly team and interested in me and my hair. I went for a completely new style and had great advice and managed the process informatively, every step of the way! Bridie was superb and I think I've found my hairdresser for life! Amazing place! Had my hair done by Carole today, really pleased with my hair cut and colour. Been using this salon for the last two years and never once had a bad service. This place is amazing and would recommend to anyone.

I love Sands in Cardiff as they do an amazing job and are all very friendly and welcoming. Bridie did my hair and did a fantastic job. I did mention to her that one of the students who washed my hair was rather rough and lacked customer service skills as she didnt make any effort to speak to me or ask if the water temperature was suitable. Maybe a bit more training for the students is needed in this area.

Excellent colour, cut and finish today. Carrie is a brilliant hairdresser and was lovely as usual! Highly recommended. See you next time! x

Lovely relaxing Aveda salon with treatment perks. Have been a client of Sands for around 12 years and always a warm welcome. Super staff who continually maintain their professional development. I have total faith in my Director's opinion and suggestions. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely place but pricey and my hair is not
Same length on both sides it's all wonky! !! 10 quid for a tiny trim on my 3yr old daughters hair is shocking. Considering mine was 42 quid would of been a nice gesture if it was complimentary.

Today's treatment was a cut and blow dry. Happy with the overall serviced received, however at the end of the blow dry my hair is usually a lot straighter than today, a bit more time could have been spent with the straightening irons - GHD's. Typically I did the English thing and didn't not mention it, I'm sure they would have accommadted.

Very professional staff. Take time to answer all queries . Hair looks and feels amazing after it was done today. The young girl Jason ( Jay) who washed my hair and applied the proteins treatment was lovely too. The pot of tea was pampering .
