Sands Hairdressing

My first experience at this salon was 50/50, i went in for a cut and finish, which lasted about 35 minutes.

All were polite and welcoming, drinks offered but the hair service was rushed and unclean.

Kaye wasn’t fully prepared for our booking despite it being quiet, she had to run around for various equipment, and even used an unclean comb after pulling someone else’s hair out of it.

The overhaul finish of my hair was ruched, it required straightening.

Sands Hairdressers is the most professional and friendly place to have all my hair needs dealt with.
The staff are extremely accommodating regarding appointment dates and times, will always do their best to fit in with my availability.
Ceri knows me and my hair do well and I trust her to always do what’s best for my hair.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Attended today for my first appointment and have already booked my next. Staff were friendly and very helpful. With my new hairstyle I feel twenty years younger and enjoying the compliments from my family. I have and will recommend this salon to my friends.

I always enjoy coming to Sands as it’s always a friendly welcome and Ceri is a superb cutter. A relaxing wash and head massage. I can highly recommend them.

It was my first time at Sands and I absolutely loved it. Amazing service from start to finish, even the consultation prior to the treatment. Stuart understood what I wanted perfectly and I’m so happy with the end result.

I hadn’t had my long hair cut for 5 years and Debbie did a great job of doing exactly what I wanted - a shoulder length cut with subtle layers. Very happy & Would totally recommend!

Our household is shielding, so we're still being careful to manage our general health risks. I was really touched that the receptionist saw my mask and moved my chair to be next to the open door. Stuart (the only stylist I've repeatedly gone back to) wore a mask for my session. I love the way my hair looks both after and between visits, but really appreciate the care they took to make me feel comfortable

I am a regular here and needed to change my plans because of the threatened heat wave. The salon could not have been more accommodating.
Excellent cut and blow dry as usual plus excellent service.

I had a wonderful experience this afternoon when the very experienced and knowledgeable Nicola coloured my hair. In the 12 years I have been having my hair coloured she chose the best colour ever for me. And she dried it exactly as I asked. She is also obviously passionately mindful about what we put on our hair and bodies. I went to Sands today because the salon I usually go to for colourwork were fully booked. I’m glad they were. I’ll be back.

Hi I’m James mum and would normally accompany him as he’s a very anxious young man who has autism. I would just like to say a big thank you to his stylist and staff. I picked him up and not only does he love his hair style he also mentioned how nice the stylist was. It’s the first time he’s gone alone and the staff made him feel welcome & relaxed. He’s looking forward to coming again & is very happy with his hair, which may seem the usual comment but for my son to feel that way is very rare. So I’d like to say a big thank you and we look forward to visiting again soon.

First time visiting Sands and I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease. The girl who washed my hair was so nice and chatty and then Nicola who cut my hair gave me good advice and really listened to me and was so nice. For the first time I've ever seen in a salon was a card at the station which read that if you don't fancy chatting then they understand and that in fact made me want to chat. I had the option of either chatting or having a quiet cut. Great idea.
