Just had a cut and finish by Briony after a bad experience elsewhere left me feeling really unhappy. Briony however was so attentive and really listened to what I wanted. She didn't rush at all and asked me questions throughout to ensure I was happy with the finished product. Could not reccommend Briony and The Avenue enough! Will definitely be returning!

The only hairdressers I would trust doing my hair for over 5 years now. Amazing staff, they all look after you well from the minute you walk in the door. Always on time. The hairdressers know what style wil suit you (or not) and tell you. They give you lots of advice on looking after your hair and styling at home. Great value for money too!

Been with this salon for 3 years now and it never fails me. Very friendly staff and they make you feel at home. Very considerate and offers you beverages. Always comes out with a smile on my face knowing they have made one happy customer. They really listen on things I want doing. Abit pricey for me so tryed a few other salon but they don't do exactly what I want. If it means breaking my bank to come here is worth every penny. Also love how they give you discount if you stay a loyal customer. Would highly recommend to anyone to come to this salon.

I have been coming to the Avenue for 6 years and have received excellent hair cuts and highlights from Charlie every time! I live abroad but wait to come to the Avenue when I'm back home as the service is great. Wish I could fly Charlie over!

Great great cut from Bryonny!

I've been coming to the Avenue and having my haircut by Bryony for 3 years now. She's cut my hair from being long, to a bob, to 2 different pixie styles, back to a bob and is now helping me grow my hair long again - and I've never had a bad cut.

There have been times that I've asked for something that wouldn't suit my hair and because Bryony knows my hair so well she will let me know (gently haha) if she thinks something slightly different would be better, and she is always right! I appreciate that as hairstylists generally have the experience to know whether something won't work, yet I've found it hard to find one that is honest but respectful at the same time. Bryony is both!

She is really patient too, especially when it comes to me being annoyingly fussy over my parting and my fringe!! Thank you Bryony xx

I've also had a couple of maintenance cuts with Charlie and she is also lovely and listens really well to what you ask for.

Overall a great salon

First visit today and being an ex hairdresser I am pick but after a great consultation and relaxing head massage came away with a beautiful short haircut from Briony
She listened and didn't mind when I wanted certain bits a bit shorter

I just want to say i have been going to this hairdressers for over 30 yrs.
During this time i have had 3 stylists: Russell, Jayne and now Victoria, i am always pleased with the results i walk out with.
I do not want to offend anybody at The Avenue but my visit today (23rd Dec) was the best, a new girl called Beth has the most amazing way if washing hair, she was brillant, the best ive ever experienced, she doesnt only have that great talent but she was so polite, so efficient and just a lovely person, my visit today was one of the best. I have been having my hair done at The Avenue for about 8 months now. Before coming here my hair had become dull, dry, shapeless and boring! Charlie was brilliant, she took the time to give me a consultation where we talked about what colours would lift my hair and add some life back into it! I am so happy with my hair now, the condition of it has never been better and the colour is exactly what I want!

The salon has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and all of the girls seem lovely, and I can definitely recommend Charlie, she will really take her time in your hair and is lovely to chat too.

I had my hair cut by Briony at The Avenue for the first time yesterday. I am so happy with the cut, and was really impressed by the salon. I was given a proper consultation at the beginning of my appointment (something I've never had before) and Briony was really perceptive when she advised me on styles that would suit my hair and haircare habits. I was given a relaxing head massage after my hair had been washed (another first!) which was an absolute treat. Briony was chatty without being overbearing and all in all I came away from the salon feeling great. I most definitely recommend The Avenue!

Prior to my appointment, I was interested in getting my hair dyed silver/grey. Having really dark natural hair, Briony advised me about the potential outcome and suggested various alternatives to suit my hair. We settled on a rose gold which came out beautiful and much better than I had expected.

Briony is brilliant and offers great individual advice. On both of my appointments with her, she has made me feel totally comfortable and confident that the end result will be great.

I have had my hair cut and coloured here quite a few times now and it is always brilliant! Staff are so friendly and look after you! I absolutely love the feel and look of my hair every time I've been! They also give you great advice on products to use on your hair!

I'd like to say a massive thank you to Tracy for my wonderful haircut. I have been to The Avenue before but this is the first time Tracy has cut my hair. She made me feel very welcome, was very attentive, listened to what I wanted and also gave very good advice. I didn't feel rushed or pressured into having something I didn't want or 'should' have. The treatments on my hair felt and smelt gorgeous. She talked me through every step of the way. The treatments and what they were for. When she cut my hair she checked to make sure I was happy with the cut and the end result. She was very chatty and made me feel welcome and very pampered. The end result was great. I absolutely love my haircut and have been complimented by lots of people. I would recommend Tracy to anyone if they want their hair cutting.
