The Avenue

Today was my first haircut at The Avenue. It was a great experience. My stylist Victoria, took time to listen to what I was after and followed it perfectly to the letter. I am very happy with my new haircut and would recommend this salon to anyone :D

Charlie coloured my hair and did a great job and showed interest and explained what she was using I was delighted with the result
I was also told they have a hair specialist in salon now that can advise you what products to use if you have a problem with your hair

I have been passing the Avenue on the tram for a long time. I finally plucked up the courage to change hairdressers and boy I'm so glad I did . Charlie listed to me and cut it perfectly! She was so attentive and chatty I felt as though I had been going there for years. So glad I've taken the plunge, see you in 5 weeks ????

Really extremely lovely stylists, really good at understanding what you want from a haircut, and at knowing what will and won't work on your hair specifically. I have a particularly difficult hairline on my neck for example, and I've never had a hairdresser deal with it so well before. lovely staff,great haircut, fair pricing, good atmosphere

Love having my hair done here. It is no longer a chore but a pleasure. From consultation and head massage through to finish it is a lovely experience. I am also happy with the advice and finished cut.

Just had a hair and scalp consultation Tracy is very knowledgeable and easy to talk too. My hair felt flat and lifeless and after a head and scalp massage shampoo and blow dry my scalp felt refreshed and my hair full of volume. Very pleased lovely staff great service. Already booked another appiontment ????

Just spent an hour with Tracy for a totally new experience I was nervous and sceptical but Tracy put me at my ease and was very knowledgeable I didn't hesitate to buy the recommended after how my hair feels after the bespoke treatment. Every hair salon should have an expert like Tracy. It has made me more interested in what else The Avenue had to offer. Tracy is a great asset to the salon keep up the good work

I've been going here for over 6 years and i love it. Love the products they use and the friendly atmosphere. Charlie does an excellent haircut and i always leave feeling happy and pampered.

I have been going to The Avenue for a while now to take advantage of the hair and nail services. I have never once had a bad experience. The pricing they offer for loyal customers is outstanding and is something which insists people go back. I was very dubious about having my hair coloured as I have never done so and wanted a specific look which I have seen a lot of people attempt and has gone horrifically wrong. I sat down with Briony and she found a solution which would work for us both - I absolutely love it and have the same style repeated every time I go back. The atmosphere is amazing and I am always surprised at how much they remember about what i've previously told them when I go in! Excellent treatment and I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Just visited the Avenue for the first time. Hannah was my stylist. She gave me a cleansing shampoo before the usual shampoo and conditioner, as well as a great scalp massage. She asked a lot of questions about my usual hair care regime and what I wanted from my cut. Gave me some good advice about my thin brittle hair and her cut was exactly what I asked for. Really happy.

An excellent haircut and experience. My hairdresser (Charlie) listens to what I'd like and is extremely competent and attentive. Walked away feeling my hair was healthy and well styled again. Very happy!

I had my usual half head highlights with Charlie and eyebrow shape with Hannah today, who are both lovely! The highlights always look such a nice colour and Hannah always makes my eyebrows look neat and tidy. I have been coming to the Avenue for 4-5 years and would thoroughly recommend!

I was beyond impressed with everything about the Avenue!
Was given 50% off for new customers for a Friday appointment despite this only being for Tuesday-Thursday, as I couldn't make any of the offer days. The stylist treated me no different despite having the money off, and when I paid I honestly felt like I was stealing from her!
My stylist spent a long time on my hair, making sure it was exactly how I wanted it, and the result was exactly what I came in looking for. Couldn't be happier, definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely massage following a bikini and leg wax at the avenue. Hannah is a great therapist who is very professional and friendly and always has your needs in mind in treatments. Surprisingly following my wax I felt very zen, relaxed and pampered with a great massage. :)

Hannah gave a wonderful hot stone massage. Highly recommended.

I have tried The Avenue for the first time these last few weeks and have been very impressed. A great massage and the best pedicure I have had.

I always measure the performance of a hairdresser by how I feel afterwards. Do I walk out feeling really special, having had a great experience and a good haircut or do I look at my hair and think hmmmm...I don't think I'll be going there again!

Another sign of a good hairdresser is for them to listen to what you want but also add a bit of their own creativity and experience to your cut. They should know what's best for your hair type, colour, skin tone and face/head shape and be able to understand what you want and give you little bit extra to make you feel and look good.

I'm pleased to say that my first appointment with James at The Avenue as a new customer was a very positive experience. I was treated really well, I had an in depth conversation about what I wanted and my hair routine. I had two (!) complimentary scalp massages and my hair was cut to a extremely high standard that made me feel really good afterwards. I got lots of compliments about my hair too
