Thank you so much for taking the time to review the salon and the really great feedback about Lisa.
This salon has always been a franchise but was brought it in house last year for various reason and is now run as a full company owned salon. During that time we have decorated the salon, upgraded all the lighting and safety elements, invested hugely in staff training and development, introduced new services and upgraded the furnishings. I'm sorry to read that you feel the salon is in decline despite the above improvements. The investment is far from over, we are about to upgrade our retail areas and we now offer the entire hair care range of label.m hair care, our professional and award winning range of products. Additionally we now offer the relaxing hair spa service where every client can relax at our back wash area enjoying hot towel head massages and benefit from repairing and nourishing hair treatments.
I'm extremely unhappy to learn that you were told there wasn't juice available. This should not have happened and I have spoken to the staff to ensure that the salon never runs out of refreshments. However, should this happen one of the team will go out and replace it immediately.
Our prices haven't increased since the salon came in house. Our staff are trained way above industry standard and this is reflected in the price. That said, we are considerably cheaper than some other salons in Sheffield.
Unfortunately due to the licensing act we cannot serve alcohol in the salon. Any business that offers alcohol, even free of charge, needs to obtain a licence from the council or face huge fines and possible closure. I'm not prepared to jeopardise our business and the jobs of our amazing team by ignoring those regulations. Additionally our salon employ 16 year old apprentices and we cannot have alcohol on the premises. I know a glass of wine would make a visit even more enjoyable but as this is now a company owned salon we have to comply with the law and we also have a duty of care to our younger employees.
I would like to offer you a complimentary hair spa treatment when you have time to come in next. Please speak with the manager Stuart who will be happy to arrange this for you. I will also ensure there is orange juice available every time you visit.
