At Boyd’s we love what we do and are passionate about making you look and feel fantastic. We take enormous pride in our friendly, relaxed and attentive approach from the moment you walk in to the salon to the moment you leave.

Our stylists and colour technicians are some of the best, and to ensure we maintain our high standards the team are constantly updating their cutting, styling and colour techniques, this combined with a dedicated passion for our craft enables us to provide the highest level of service to all our clients.

All staff were warm and welcoming, I knew they appreciated the length of my hair and reassured me they would only take off what I wanted as my hair is lovely and long anyway and they wouldn't want to chop off healthy long hair anyway and that made me really happy too. They offered me a drink and was just genuinely nice people.

I love going to boyds in chase terrace, from Alison on reception who always manages to fit me in even with my work rota changes, to Amy who subtly conceals my grey hairs, Kate who transforms my dry, dull menopausal skin to clean and glowy, and of course boyd who's looked after my unruly hair for a number of years, they are all lovely, very friendly and totally great at what they do. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else and would totally recommend boyds to everyone.

My hair is always perfect when cut by Boyd I would have no one else cut it. It is very thick and strong and needs cutting well. It is very easy to handle afterwards. No one else for me.

Emma sorts my hair out. My hair is challenging with it being frizzy and neither here nor there with waves. I am not brilliant with styling and Emma gives me a great cut that even I can manage. Everyone is so friendly too making you feel welcome. Highly recommended

I have used this salon for years and have always found it warm, friendly and relaxed. The service delivered and end result, are of a very high standard. This, coupled with the knowledge, experience and expertise of the staff, provides a reassurance to the customer that you are in safe hands. Nothing is too much trouble. I have often recommended the salon to friends and family.

It was my third time going to Boyd’s and Shell has done an amazing job getting my hair how I want it in just 2 sessions! The staff always talk you through what they are going to do, so you get exactly what you want. My nail splintered & the gel chipped with 2 weeks until my next app. Alison on Rec is always so friendly & helpful, she sorted an app the same day. Kate is always warm & welcoming & sorted my nail. Brilliant service.
