The stylist was a fairly new addition to the stylists here. She was running late (- and said she had been all day.), and was clearly struggling to manage her time effectively.
She appeared to understand how I wanted my hair done (ie shorter at the back, with medium length layers on the top and sides). However, what I’ve had done seemed to be step-down layers which are far shorter than desired or requested, and have given me a “hedgehog” cut all over the top. I am struggling to style it in any decent way due to it having been cut too short (-certainly a lot shorter than I asked for; and I’d asked for “layered” not a “step-down” cut).
This was a disappointing experience, especially as I’m now struggling to know how to style it until it grows out.
This is a rare poor experience in an otherwise high quality salon. I will continue to go to this salon, but unlikely to that stylist.

From the time I walked through the door of the salon to the time I left I felt thoroughly spoilt! From the care taken with the washing and conditioning to the cut/styling and drying whole process excellent as usual - many thanks!

Always made to feel welcome. First time had Genma cut my hair. Used to be Ben but he left earlier in the year. Gemma was lovely. Well pleased with how she cut my hair. Loveky, bubbly person. The young girl who shampooed my hair was also lovely and very polite. Best hair wash I have had. Felt as if she was taking all the stress out if me. Thank you Kate and thank you Gemna. Came out of salon feeling totally refreshed

Had my hair coloured with kacey today she did an amazing job,I’m really pleased i have also had lots of compliments on it,she was very friendly and professional also

Always a pleasurable experience to have hair cared for.

People were very attentive and kind, however, I am not very satisfied with the service.

When washing the hair, the hairdresser did not wash either my head or hair thoroughly. She did not even reach the bottom of my head which remained unwashed. It was a very fast process, and only used shampoo, no conditioner or mask even though my hair needed it.

I went for a shorter cut than usual and we agreed to keep a layer on. I did not see her cutting the layer and when I asked if the layer was on, she said yes. When I got home I noticed I had some longer hairs on the front making my hair clearly unbalanced and the layer was not on. Unfortunately, I had to cut the uneven part myself and I will need to go somewhere else to get my layer done.

The blow drying was good and made it look as a nice result initially, however, I wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t come back.

Being going to Gemma roughly 15 years everytime my haircut is spot on great company always make you welcome x

I’ve been going to the salon for a number of years now. All staff are friendly and there is always a warm welcome. It’s been good to see their passion to grow, develop and retain their apprentices.
There is a wealth of experience too with kerry and Gemma, who offer expert styling and colour advice. A great team x

The salon is always welcoming and friendly and all staff are lovely. Gemma has been cutting and styling my hair for many years and I'm always pleased with the cut and finish. Cesca colours my hair and always listens to me. Again I'm always happy with the colour.
