Poor customer service - waiting in reception, there was a lot of discounts added to customer prior to myself and she got a lovely service as she knew the staff. I was not even asked if I would like to book back in.
The whole time I felt like I was an inconvenience to the stylist. She was racing to get through the appointment so she could ‘rest’. I have short hair and needed an upkeep cut which she didn’t seem impressed with making remarks about me ‘unable to get into a barbers’ thanks?
I appreciate short/asymmetric styles take less time- I’m fully aware. However to be clipped, washed and scissor cut with styling along with payment took less than 30 minutes. I haven’t had a cut since lockdown other than a clipper upkeep and so It needed some TLC but I felt this was not the case she needed to get my cut done so she could finish early - as she made abundantly clear by looking at her watch and with comments.
You cannot blame covid for poor customer service - I wasn’t sure what was the protocol here, so I arrived in a mask and was told to remove it to proceed with the cut (I understand) but then stylist pushed her visor up (away from her face) and it seemed pointless to be wearing it, rubbed her nose and Continued to cut my hair. Felt a bit at unease, again; what’s the point?
