Friendly and helpful. 14 year old had long ends cut and lovely layers cut in to give subtle movement. Very happy with results and lots of advice given to keep it healthy between salon visits. We’ll be back again.

Warm welcome, fantastic experience and swapped between different stylists throughout my appointment which was fantastic meant I wasn’t waiting around.

My hair is exactly what I wanted and this was my first visit. Very knowledgable team who were able to assist and advise me to help me decide the finished result.

It has taken me a few salons to find one I'm happy with since moving to Burton. But now I won't go anywhere else. Although I have my regular hairdresser, when she's been unavailable I've been really pleased with others who have cut my hair. The place is so friendly and welcoming. Somehow they always remember my name. Olivia remembers exactly what cut she did last time, and even the thickness of my hair, which she has helped to improve. Honest advice, which I really appreciate. I would recommend kh Tutbury to everyone.

Exceptionally good colour, sound advice, friendly service and good coffee.

Darcey is 3 years old and this was her first trip to a salon to have her haircut. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Darcey was treated like a little VIP. She loved the pampering. Fern was very friendly and patient with Darcey. We were both offered drinks, an iPad for her to watch her chosen video whilst she had her hair trimmed, a hot water bottle (which was such a lovely touch on a cold morning) and Haribo sweets for afterwards. To complete the experience Fern offered to plait Darcey’s hair which was so lovely as she’s never had plaits before. We have rebooked and can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Unfortunately this is my third consecutive visit where I have left the salon feeling very disappointed. I am pleased with the colour this time and cut. I wasn’t pleased with the colour in November hence why I rebooked again a few weeks later, this has left me feeling quite upset about paying a considerable amount twice in a short period especially during the current cost of living. I appreciate I’m not always able to have the colour I want due to a sensitive scalp but for the amount I pay I still expect the results to reflect the amount paid. Since growing my hair in lockdown and having some length, sadly again the last few visits I have been left very dissatisfied with the finished result, on leaving the salon each visit my hair has still been wet, damp or a fluffy ‘frumpy’ mess feeling and looking worse than when I arrived. Each time I’ve left the salon I’ve put my hood up until arriving home incase anyway I know sees me, on arriving home having to then restyle my hair knowing I paid for this service. I haven’t had that feeling great about my hair and look for the last few visits, wanting to go out because I feel amazing with my new ‘hair do’. I am left feeling frustrated and sad that I have paid a considerable amount and not received the desired results. I have been with this salon for many years and always enjoyed my visits, the stylists have always been very helpful and friendly, I have just been left recently feeling I certainly haven’t received what I paid for. I feel my only option is to ask next time not to blow dry my hair but I feel this should always be the best part of the salon experience.

Another great salon experience from Liv. So pleased with my hair and the lift she’s achieved to the level I wanted. She was very attentive and always checking if i was happy with everything. Liv also gave me advice for curling my hair at home which is greatly appreciated.
