I visited salon frances today, my hair was coloured by pamela and my cut leslie. Always a pleasure to go to the salon. As the staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend

After a horrible experience with another salon, I walked in and met Lauren who did a beautiful job and put my nerves at ease. The girls could not do a better job and have made a regular out of me!

This was my 2nd visit to this salon to have my hair colour sorted. The first was for a cut. Both appointments were with Rachel and both were excellent. She did the best job of highlights I’ve ever had, doing them very carefully and spacing them out in a way that looked natural. Rachel explained what she was doing and why and was very thorough about checking what I wanted throughout the appointments. She was lovely and friendly but not overly chatty which I appreciated as an introvert! The salon has a great atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and it felt very nice to be offered tea/coffee. like the staff were really making an effort to look after me. If you are looking for professional hair styling with great results in a friendly and indulgent atmosphere, this is the place to come! Only things that would have made it completely perfect was if the background music was a little quieter and if the luxury treatment I had on my first appointment could have included a bit of massage while the treatment was working. However still really happy and am looking forward to returning.

I always have a good experience at Francis Hunter. The welcome, the coffee, atmosphere and friendliness of the staff all combine to make it a very comfortable experience.

I came to the salon with VERY long very damaged hair after having to grow it out after being completely butchered at a different salon Lauren was amazing super friendly and my hair looks fantastic!! I think going forward Lauren will be my goto!

Every visit to this stylish salon is a joy. Gary is a consummate professional. Hugely talented, generous with advice and always leaves me feeling buoyed up and incredibly happy. Every haircut is beautifully finished and thanks to his technical skills, is easy to manage at home. The salon is smart, immaculate and kept in first class order. Every member of staff is thoughtful, skilled and attentive. It never disappoints.

Came in for my first time, only been in Stirling a week and was really glad I’ve found the perfect salon already. My hair was damaged with faded colour in it and I wanted a complete change. I love what I came out with, all staff are lovely and got told some really helpful aftercare advice/how to style my hair. Thanks again, its perfect!

I had a change of colour and cut today and left the salon more than happy. I was well advised but listened to by three members of staff - Lauren , Lynsey Pamela. My overall experience (supported by the general friendly welcoming approach by all ) left me feeling very contented, happy and confident as I booked my next appointment.

Without a doubt the best hairdressing experience I have had. They take the time to get to know you, and talk you through the whole experience. It never feels like I’m just another head of hair but always genuine excitement to do the best job possible and the results every time have been faultless!

Lovely cut. Very pleased. Rachel took her time checking the cut. I have grey/white hair so don’t use colour anymore.

Always warm, welcoming, a great atmosphere with staff and customers. The shop has always been exceptionally clean and tidy, so apart from a few additionally bits and pieces it remains so 100%. The cut, the service, if I told you that I’ve been stopped in Times Square, New York, Stirling! and asked for the name of my hairdresser, well you can’t do better than that. Okay I give in, Gary Hunter is an exceptional stylist and a Master of his art!

Best hair experience ever !!!

From start to finish I strongly felt like this was a place that had my hair wishes at heart. The place was clean, organized, and pleasant to be in. Lauren was spectacular and listened to every word I said, took them into account, and gave me the best haircut of my life. I am thrilled to bits, and even though I was there for almost an hour and a half, it came to less than £50... Something unheard of in other hair salons I've tried. 10/10 will book my next hair appointment with Lauren at Frances Hunter.

Really enjoyed my experience in the salon yesterday with Rachel. Was lovely to get the whole salon experience as I've been using box dyes for years. The welcome was exceptional a very relaxed and professional bunch of girls and Garry lol I love my hair the cut was fabulous. Iloved the experience so did my mum who was with me and is now going to book an appointment. it was that welcoming and Lyndsay done a fab job of my hair would highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a fab hairdresser xxx

Called in with no appointment and in desperate need as had been let down prior to my holiday. Fab stylist, talented, friendly and good prices. Great atmosphere and came out really happy with the result.

Bright vivacious salon, with regular update of decor. Staff enthusiastic, cheerful and professional.cut and colour exceptional. As a client for 16 years Gary manages to tweak my Bob so that it is regularly updated.
Pamela colours my locks and discusses the treatment every visit to account for the natural changes of age
Plenty of coffee and biscuits offered and lots of chatter
