Absolutely love all of my experiences with John Michael Salon. I’ve seen Dan each time and he has always done a beautiful job on my hair. I popped in the day before to get a last minute appointment for a wash and blow dry and was able to get one for the following morning. Alana was so friendly and helpful, was a pleasure having her do my hair! Having moved quite recently I had yet to find the right hair stylist. Checking reviews I booked Dan at John Charles Bury St Edmunds. Right from the first phone call to leaving the salon I was really impressed by the whole experience. Dan’s questions regarding my hair really impressed me and I am delighted with my cut and blow dry. First time customers receive a free wash and blow dry by their preferred stylist following the first appointment and between appointments, free fringe cuts. I can unreservedly recommend this salon, which has a professional, relaxed and happy atmosphere.

We moved relatively recently to Bury St Edmunds and I was still looking for a hair stylist that I had confidence in. Having read excellent reviews for John Michael I made an appointment with Dan. From the friendly and warm welcome until I left the whole experience was superb. Dan asked questions about my hair, what products I used and any problems. I was really impressed. He cut my hair so well and took his time to make sure I was happy with it. I will definitely be returning to Dan and, as I was a new customer, I was offered a wash and blow dry free of charge where I could comment on my first cut and if there were any problems. I was also offered a free fringe cut between cuts. All in all it was a great experience and from the ambience it is obviously a very happy salon.

This was my first visit to the salon following a recommendation from my sister, who has been using the salon for years. Dan spent quite a while chatting to me, asking question to understand my hair concerns and what I wanted to achieve. Very happy with the end result and great advice on aftercare. I’ll be rebooking for sure!
