Hair cut to perfection as well.

To go from very long brunette hair to a shoulder length layered bob and have it taken to a bayalage of ash toned booked rather than the honey colours is an achievement! But my hair stylist Georgia literally smashed my expectations and gave me that true salon locks you hope for worthy of any insta photo! I am thrilled with the results. I LOVE my hair ????

Finally found after much searching a fantastic hairdressers in Bury St Edmunds! Great atmosphere, lots of laughs and FINALLY a hairstyle that I love! Thank you ladies for making me feel so welcome. I will definitely be returning and highly recommending you!

If you want banging hair then No 48 is the place!! Not only are they the nicest, most hospitable gals around. They. Know. Hair. They are current in all the trends and they make all my hair dreams come true. Beth and Abi have taken care of me for over a year now and I will not miss an appointment. They have helped me find my style and they give me the best color service in the country. Absolutely 5 stars.

When I first started going to No 48 my hair was a train wreck from continuous home dying, box kits and rubbish bleaching. Now I go every 12 weeks and my hair is in fantastic condition and I can have it the colour I want without ruining it! I always feel looked after and care for. Everyone is so polite and chatty. Just what I need for a little me time!

My hairdresser of 10 years moved abroad and I've been struggling to find another fit. I've been to No 48 on a couple of occasions for colour and a trim. Today I went to see Abi for a restyle. She was just fab, explaining the way she was cutting and discussing after care. The whole salon is lovely with the best drinks tray I've come across. Would thoroughly recommend No 48.

The girls at No 48 are always so friendly and welcoming. Hadn’t had my hair cut in ages before I went to Beth and was super nervous she would get scissor happy (it happened in the past at other salons) but she listened to what I wanted and always shared her own ideas and visions. I have always left the salon really loving my hair, never had that awkwardness of telling my hairdresser I love it when actually I don’t coz they’re just amazing at what they do. Can’t rate the girls high enough, the salon itself is stunning and I love that Lisa the owner is always there too! You can tell everyone has a real passion for their job and I won’t be going anywhere else for my hair! Thank you girlies ????

Saturday was the first time I visited your salon and have been left very disappointed I’m afraid.

I was booked in for a T section and toner. I got home and looked in the mirror to find that my parting had barely been touched and the toner had only been applied to my roots so my hair was two different tones.

I called as soon as I got home and the hairdresser who did my hair said ‘it probably was me who did your hair’ - she told me that she only had 3 clients today, me, a female cut and a male cut so she obviously knew who I was. She did not apologise and was extremely blasé about my complaint. She told the salon is closed until Friday so she can’t rectify my hair until Friday and the only appointment I could have was 1pm. I am bridesmaid to my best friend on Saturday so it doesn’t give me any time to fix it is again not right so I really hope it will be sufficient this time around.

I was recommended No.48 by a friend and on seeing my hair and hearing about my experience they are really embarrassed.

I love going to have my hair done at No48 because it is a friendly and happy place that has experienced staff, It is a joy to be there as well as value for money. I would recommend.

For a top class salon to be child friendly has previously been unheard of by myself! Thus making the visit a relaxing one even though it is the school holiday’s. On top of this I received a great consultation. The outcome was a fantastic cut and colour,and children whom will look forward to returning.

Great cut & colour as always from No48. Such a friendly salon, relaxed but always professional - they go above & beyond, advising on what suits and what won't work. And the coffees are amazing.
