great friendly atmosphere, professional haircut as always

The girls at No 48 are always so friendly and welcoming. Hadn’t had my hair cut in ages before I went to Beth and was super nervous she would get scissor happy (it happened in the past at other salons) but she listened to what I wanted and always shared her own ideas and visions. I have always left the salon really loving my hair, never had that awkwardness of telling my hairdresser I love it when actually I don’t coz they’re just amazing at what they do. Can’t rate the girls high enough, the salon itself is stunning and I love that Lisa the owner is always there too! You can tell everyone has a real passion for their job and I won’t be going anywhere else for my hair! Thank you girlies ????

Saturday was the first time I visited your salon and have been left very disappointed I’m afraid.

I was booked in for a T section and toner. I got home and looked in the mirror to find that my parting had barely been touched and the toner had only been applied to my roots so my hair was two different tones.

I called as soon as I got home and the hairdresser who did my hair said ‘it probably was me who did your hair’ - she told me that she only had 3 clients today, me, a female cut and a male cut so she obviously knew who I was. She did not apologise and was extremely blasé about my complaint. She told the salon is closed until Friday so she can’t rectify my hair until Friday and the only appointment I could have was 1pm. I am bridesmaid to my best friend on Saturday so it doesn’t give me any time to fix it is again not right so I really hope it will be sufficient this time around.

I was recommended No.48 by a friend and on seeing my hair and hearing about my experience they are really embarrassed.

I love going to have my hair done at No48 because it is a friendly and happy place that has experienced staff, It is a joy to be there as well as value for money. I would recommend.

For a top class salon to be child friendly has previously been unheard of by myself! Thus making the visit a relaxing one even though it is the school holiday’s. On top of this I received a great consultation. The outcome was a fantastic cut and colour,and children whom will look forward to returning.

Great cut & colour as always from No48. Such a friendly salon, relaxed but always professional - they go above & beyond, advising on what suits and what won't work. And the coffees are amazing.

First time visit for a full head of highlights and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. A refreshingly relaxed salon with very friendly staff - no pretentiousness here! Love my new highlights and have already booked a return visit. Recommended!

Was recommended this salon by a friend and I will be recommending it to my friends after my visit today! Lovely bunch of girls at this salon that know what they are doing. I went in with an idea in my mind of the colour I wanted and, after showing Beth some pictures, she managed to produce something better than I could have wanted. Fab atmosphere, spent the whole visit laughing! I will be returning.

As always the atmosphere and ambiance were excellent. My favourite latte was given to me whilst I settled down to a relaxing and excellent, not to be disappointed experience.

Wonderful first time experience visiting No. 48. The staff are all very courteous, welcoming and friendly. Charlie, who coloured my hair, listened closely to what I wanted and the result was perfect. I usually find it hard to find someone who can do a nice soft looking balayage, but it came out looking so natural and now I feel great. 5*** service and perfect pricing. Will definitely be going back.

Very nervous about having someone new dye my hair as others had done such a bad job but from the moment I walked through the door I was put at easy with a lovely smile and atmosphere, great cup of coffee and consultation to see what I wanted and would be best for my hair. Great staff, atmosphere, decor fab fab fab can't wait to have my hair done ????????????

It was my birthday and apart from my monthly haircut which was superbly executed by Abi I was treated to a cupcake (complete with candle), latte, chocolate and a motoring magazine. That together with fine company made it an unforgettable experience

Charlie fixed a really awful “balayage” I had done at another salon, the result was even better than I could have hope for! I never want to go anywhere else.

Abi always listens to what I'm looking for in my colour and strives to get it exactly how I want it. She's got great knowledge of what works and what doesn't and today she achieved a great head of highlights. That's what you want in a hairdresser - someone that listens, someone you can trust - and I was lucky to have found her.

I truly cannot thank Abi and Charlie for probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. After visiting a hairdressers previously resulting in blue hair!!!! Charlie fixed me up a treat with a super colour and put me at ease.
Then Abi steps in and finished it off with the perfect cut. Also not forgetting Lisa, truly great customer service and can’t wait to go back, thankyou xxx
