Abi has just given me probably the best haircut that I've had in my life (much better than any I had in London) and is completely lovely to boot. The salon has a really nice feel about it and parking is very convenient.

Really professional but still with a chilled and relaxed vibe. I'm so pleased with my haircut and have already received lots of compliments about it. Well worth the short walk from the centre of town to get there!

Amy understand exactly what I wanted and created a beautiful blonde ombré for the summer. It was lovely to get a compliment from other people in the salon whilst still having it finished.

Just wonderful!!! This is a salon that you feel truly special when you are there and fantastic when you walk out. Abi is such a great stylist and such great value. I have been with Abi for a number of years and moved with her to No48. I first went to her as I had had such an awful cut at another salon and she managed to sort it all out. Over the years I have built a relationship with her and both myself and my girls love her fantastic character and brilliant haircuts. Lisa greets you with such warmth and it's an all round great experience. I can't praise them enough.

Visited number 48 in preparation for a lunch date the following day. Had a baby nearly 6 months ago and my hair has been dead and tied up for years.
Everyone was very polite and friendly.
Amy was my stylist and was fab from start to finish.
She chatter about my options from the start and explained everything as she went.
She coloured, treated and cut and blow dried my hair.
She blow dried it in a way I would never have done and although I was a bit shocked to start with by the time I returned home I loved it.
I can't recommend Amy enough and the salon on the whole was welcoming and relaxed and friendly

I had my 1st visit to No. 48 today for a cut and blow dry with Abi after being highly recommended by several friends.loved it! Great place, great people & very welcoming. I will be a regular :-)

Absolutely love my hair! My hair was really dull and dry when I went into No.48 and now it's totally transformed. All the staff were so friendly and took lots of time to make sure I was happy with the result. I have booked an appointment again as I will definitely be returning. Thank you for all your help ladies.

I walked in with god knows what on my head and I've come out feeling like a new woman ???? My hair is amazing, the salon and staff were amazing and I can't thank Amy enough for making me feel good again ???? X

My experience was excellent.
Friendly greeting on arrival followed by my choice of various coffees.
No 48 think of everything and even had car magazines for the discerning male ????
The atmosphere was enhanced only by the staff who were very attentive throughout.

This was the first time I have been to this salon as newly opened and I have to say was very impressed. I had a lovely warm welcome. The salon looks amazing and the attention I received was just what I needed after a long day in work. Abi was great at giving me good advice on my hair and I am very happy with my cut- I have booked in for my next appointment and can't wait to go back!

I have recently moved to this area and was looking for a new salon. I am so glad I chose No48. I find large salons a bit intimidating but Lisa the owner and everyone at No48 couldn't have been friendlier and made me feel very welcome. My stylist was Jemma and she did a root application, to cover my "greys" highlights and a cut and blow dry. She is a great stylist and a lovely girl to boot! I am really pleased with the results and shall definitely be making this my regular salon. Thanks to everyone at No48

The title says it all really. This new salon looks beautiful! The setting (and the stylists of course!) makes you feel really relaxed. Abi as usual is lovely - friendly and always cuts & finishes my hair perfectly. 5 stars all around and I'd recommend to anyone. Especially those with long hair like myself.

Abi styled my hair for a Christmas Ball and it looked amazing and stayed in place all night long.
