From Olaplex to Wellaplex

Atmosphere of the place was spot on as always, staff are always friendly and cheerful. It’s always clean and a nice temperature in the salon even during this heatwave. I had Elle Louise, from the Bury store, she was really helpful and answered all my questions about your colour services so I finally booked in for my first colour treatment in two months time.
I was disappointed to find during hair wash, that the Olaplex treatment I had booked in for was now the Wellaplex and the salon had changed products. I would have appreciated being told this during the booking not during the appointment.
I asked if this would affect results and was told it was the equivalent but by Wella. Sadly, I can confirm there is definitely a difference, my hair is not as shiny or as deep conditioned as my past two olaplex treatments with yourselves. It is 3 days on and my hair has not remained that ‘salon finish’ the way it did before.
The blow dry was done really well, she even gave me tips and showed me which hair mask to buy, which I purchased.
I was unhappy with the result of the GHD waves and wish I had just kept the blow dry, the hairdresser clearly felt rushed as the next customer was there, so as a result the waves were not shiny & they dropped a couple of hours later.
