Ora Hair

Thank you I’m very happy with my hair. Sophie is very friendly and my hair is exactly how I wanted it to be. Lovely salon with a great atmosphere.

From the second you walk into Ora ,all the staff make you feel so comfortable ... the best hairdressing experience i have ever had . And the standard of cuts, colours is second to none ... i will never go anywhere else.

Hallie was attentive and considerate of my hair needs. Very pleased with the colour and cut - thanks!

I haven’t been to a hairdressers in a very long time as Iv had bad experiences, Lucy finally broke that wall down for me made me feel so comfortable Lucy was happy to help me get my hair back to the way I want it to be she explained everything so well so I could understand I cant wait to come back for my next hair cut!

Being back in the salon made me feel like life is getting back to normal. Had a terrific haircut from Lucy, who always gives the highest level of service, and didn’t even tell me off for cutting my own hair. Brilliant! Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Lucy always makes me feel so comfortable. After being with her for many, many years now she knows exactly what I want – even when I don’t know myself! She is professional, friendly and I always leave her feeling ten times better than I did when I walked in.

I came to see Chloe after being fed up of my two toned red and blonde hair. I had been growing my hair out for a year after a terrible hair dye job done by myself, and decided I wanted my discoloured ends to finally match my natural brown roots.

Chloe showed me a series of photos to which I agreed on a light brown shade, or at least was a light brown shade in my head! I hadn’t quite realised that it entailed highlighting my hair to achieve the look, and so after it was done and I saw the blonde streaks I was shocked to say the least! Although it was done very well, it wasn’t what I thought it would look like and I left the salon feeling disappointed with my new look.

Over the weekend I phoned Ora and told them I was disheartened with my hair, and they booked me in at the next available slot to fix it.

When I returned a few days later, I had a long chat with both Chloe and a very kind lady - whom I can only presume was the head colourist - took me through what I’d originally asked for, what I actually wanted and how we’d get that result. They were both so understanding and made no fuss about me changing my mind. As they both agreed, a hairstyle can look completely different from a photo to on your own head!

Long story short I left the salon with beautiful ash brown hair and felt so much more confident in myself. It’s exactly what I wanted and it feels incredibly soft!

I couldn’t recommend Chloe or Ora more.

My second time to this salon and am still as happy as I was the first time!!
Have always had a problem managing my curly hair and therefore have always kept it short which I am told made me look harsh.
Obviously over lock down it grew and at the same time we had to get a new hairdresser and my daughter found Millie for me.
What a revelation, on my first visit she advised I could keep it the longer length, which I liked, and after cutting it to shape Millie showed me how to style it. I loved the result and still find it manageable so I left there really happy and not having to wash it out when I got home as I didn’t like the way it was styled.
My second visit with Millie was even more successful as Millie advised and showed me how I could also blow dry my curly hair for another completely different look, which I loved as much as the first one!!
Am so pleased I have finally found someone who ‘gets’ my hair!!

Absolutely love coming to Ora, always made to feel welcome. Lucy is honestly the best hairdresser! So kind, caring and friendly. Never a dull moment when I come to see her, cannot wait for my next appointment at the end of October, counting down the days!

Millie cuts my curly locks so wonderfully, and all the girls are just fantastic, very attentive and willing to spend time helping you decide on a new colour or style and sharing experience. Really enjoy the atmosphere and care in Ora.

Lucy did a gorgeous job on my hair, she listened to what I was looking for and then gave suggestions to work with my natural wavey hair. Lucy was very easy to talk to. Whole experience was great from entering the salon and receiving very thorough covid checks and cleaning. Massage chair and head massage when having hair washed - lush! Was very impressed by the products used in salon all organic and smell incredible. Lucy recommended products to suit my curls, ended up purchasing the curly hair mask which was used during my wash, so nice can't wait to use regularly. Overall really pleased! Haven't managed to find a salon I have been happy with in the past.... but I shall deffinatly be returning to Ora Hair!

First time visiting this salon. My daughter and I had appointments with Chloe and Casey. I thought they were both very knowledgeable about hair types and hair health and they gave good advice about ongoing hair care as well as giving us both good haircuts.

I felt completely cared for and in good hands through my whole visit. The salon dealt well with the extra pressure re corona virus and I felt 100%safe. Sophie was lovely and my hair wash and scalp massage was divine. The cut and finish was great and the products super yummy!

I cannot recommend Ora Hair enough, all the staff are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. The girls make you feel so welcome and when you leave you feel fantastic. Great team work and such a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
Chloe has cut and coloured my hair this week and I am so, so happy with it. A lovely girl, very skilled in her job and always gives great recommendations, a credit to the salon.

Casey looked after my two little girls brilliantly in the salon. They had to go in on their own separately (due to covid and distancing) and being only 6 and 7, they were understandably nervous. When I went to collect them, they were beaming, with beautiful haircuts and styles and so happy! They loved the experience and especially their head massages! Thanks to Casey for her care and attention to my daughters- they can’t wait to come back!

Hello, waited a couple of days before writing my review. Always good to see what a hairstyle is like once I've washed my hair, I like to see how it styles without having the stylist doing it.
I really felt safe going to Ora in these unprecedented times.
Very good safety checks, minimal clients in at any one time. Sophie was welcoming and put me at ease. Discussed my hair. How I usually style hair, products used and why.
Took pre and post photo's. Products lovely, loved how my hair felt. Sophie kept checking in with me where she was at.
Loved the cut when she had finished.
Felt Sophie had listened to me.
Easy to manage at home but wish I had purchased the products as my hair doesn't feel as good. There was no hard sell.
Would I recommend Ora, yes I would.

Today’s visit was just amazing. Let’s start from the beginning, the care and safety was paramount to this unprecedented times and carried out to a professional yet friendly manner. Sophie had already been thinking of what could work well for my pre decided colour change and was absolutely spot on (she just knows!) to get the perfect result. I just love it Sophie. You are an absolute gem. Thank you ❤️❤️ On another note the other girls there were constantly on the ball in cleaning and clearing away after clients and had the salon looking and most importantly feeling sparkling and hygienically clean at all times.

Had a fantastic time with Ora hair, Hallie was attentive, listened to what I wanted and she delivered. Thank you, so much. This was a special birthday treat for me and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this salon and Hallie?

This is the second time Millie has cut my hair and I have been extremely pleased on each occasion. I particularly like the way she cuts at the back, giving it a great shape & managing to make my fine flyaway hair look voluminous.?
Millie has highlighted my hair once and did a lovely job blending 3 blonde colours.
Without a doubt I would recommend Millie.
This is not the cheapest of salons , but I feel my hair had good shape for far longer than with previous hair stylists.
Will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing service from Ora as usual. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left it was pretty much business as usual. Only thing missing was the normal gorgeous coffee, cake and sweeties but i can live with that. I thought it might be a bit uncomfortable having to wear a mask throughout the treatments but the salon was beautifully air-conditioned and it was an extremely comfortable experience. As usual fantastic service from Sophie - it’s so great to have a hairdresser that listens to you but also guides you and you then know you can trust with your hair. Cannot recommend this salon highly enough.

Had fantastic service from Lucy tonight. She really knows what I like and don’t like and has a long term vision to help me achieve the look I want. So glad to be back at Ora and to see a local business come back fighting!
