Academy Salons Cobham

Absolutely love going to academy salons...always get what i want done and this time my stylist Kelly was able to fit an extra request for my hair...all within her allocated time... shes a superstar!! And so is Meryl and Tallah for helping her out. Thankyou!

Thank you so much! Best hair service I've had in years! Kelly really understood what I wanted and cared about achieving it! After a bad experience from Hersham this really made up for it! I feel pampered and proud to show off my hair! Fab! I will be booking in again with Kelly!

Had a wonderful cut as usual by meryl very nice atmosphere in salon always offered cup of tea as well will continue to come in for cuts but find the colouring quite expensive to have done.

Walking past the salon this morning, new to cobham, wandered in on the off chance they had a space over the next few days to get my nails in shop shape for 2016... Spoke to 3 people on arrival, all super. Just by chance, they had a cancellation. Waited only 10 mins then I was in the chair in no time. Nails look lovely, feel ready for the new year. Friendly staff who will bend over backwards. Thank you for squeezing me in and I'll definitely be back soon.

I booked my appointment with Kelly few weeks ago as I think she's great and I've been her customer since Hersham.
All was fine till the moment of paying when I'm informed Kelly has been promoted, she deserves it, and the price has gone up from £20 to £60.
I'm hurt they were so sneaky they waited until paying to let me know, as, as the treatment was finished, could not refuse.
I don't like this kind of disregard for the customer and I don't think I'll ever be back.
I have voiced my views on social media.

Was looking forward to 3 hrs of pampering pre Xmas. Having been greeted by my hair techinian she asked whether I had had the skin test. I said 'no', the receptionist had said she would call me back if I had needed to do a test, my answer was met with immense disapproval. I was made to feel like I had done something truly wrong. I said I didn't mind signing a disclaimer after all I have had my hair hi lighted for 18 years. This suggestion was met again with severe diapproval and I was told the toner could kill me and my hair stylist couldn't have this on her conscious. I understand it's salon policy and Holly was just doing her job. But the way it was dealt with was made to feel like my fault, a £20 off voucher was little compensation for how rubbish I felt sitting there like a naughty school child. Would recommend some customer service training on how to overcome objections or deal with difficult situations. My hair incidentally looks great...! Regards, Lucy

I booked my appointment with Kelly as usual. Every time I've been there, I followed her from Hersham, the price has been the same, less that £20,
Imagine my surprise when, at the payment moment, they have told me I have to pay £59 as that's the new price because Kelly has been promoted.
I was so shocked I paid but I'm not coming back ever again and I'll tell people in the social media about the awful customer service.
A disgrace!

Great cut but for just a trim it was very overpriced at £57!!

Fab colour, cut and blow dry - as always!

I walked in with a stiff painful neck which had been giving me trouble for weeks as well as referred headaches, and I walked out feeling like I had been completely fixed. The relief is incredible. Angelica listened carefully to what the problem was and knew just which muscles to work on to remove the tension which had built up to such an uncomfortable level.The pressure was firm enough to really work but never painful. It was also really relaxing. Really recommend Angelica. Also very good value compared to what some salons charge.

I am always a bit wary trying a new hairdressers but Academy made me very welcome. The whole experience was 1st Class from the Lily who washed my hair to Lisa who did the blow dry and styling. I left feeling very happy and will definitely be going back - thank you :)

Very welcoming, friendly and good hairstyle

Always happy with Leeanne's attention to her clients and love that during e.g. the pampering sessions one can simply slumber and be calm. No need for chats just pure relaxation. She allows you the space to be in the moment or the option to engage if you wish.

Had my hair coloured by Caroline and then cut by John. I went in not sure they could actually do what I wanted today but Caroline did a magnificent job with the colour and finally got it back to where I wanted it but wasn't sure it could be done! And John has given me a beautiful cut as always and really livened up my hair with the blow dry - it never looks this volumised! It is rather expensive and feel it could be a little lower (my sister in law pays less for Leo Bancroft) but my hair looks great. Thanks to all at Academy, a wonderful team.

John listened to what I had to say & cut my hair accordingly - for a first cut it was great, now we just need to 'tweak' it. My hair is very strong & next time I'll ask John to texture heavily through it. ????

I had a back massage and a facial.. Very good and very relaxing... The only hard thing was to styawake, I nearly drifted off a few times...

Efficient, friendly and professional.

Very good cut and hairdresser very interested in creating best look for me, none of your "are you going on holiday" only interest is giving you a style which suits you and your happy with, I will go back.

Have been using Academy Cobham since I moved to Cobham from London 4 years ago. Tried a couple of other salons too but found Academy to be the best. Nice staff, knowledgable. Do a great job of colour & cut. Good service & refreshments offered

My first visit to the Academy salon in cobham promises to be one of many in the future! Staff is experienced, polite and very attentive. I am very pleased with the service and look forward to my next visit.

New to UK and first visit to Academy Cobham
Clean & nice atmosphere
Waxing was relatively painless, which is always a plus. Lauren was a great.
However, I wish they would wear gloves for Brazilian waxing...and there seemed to be a bit of confusion. I asked for full clean-up...we call it a Brazilian...but a strip was left, which I saw once I was at home. Apparently a full clean is called a Hollywood here

I arrived to Cobham and begin a new adventure teaching at ACS from Florida, and was recommended to Academy by my Airbnb host. Academy earns an A ++ in my book. From the moment I crossed the threshhold, I was made to feel welcomed and treated as a first class customer by everyone. Hannah, who did my color, chose the perfect combination to rid me of my "grashy" look. While waiting to process, I was offered tea and all the gals were attentive and chipped in to assist one another. Great teamwork. After shampoo, my next stop was to John's chair. His kindness and expertise filled me with total confidence, and I left with a beautiful trendy style which makes me look and feel 10 years younger. Academy is a class act!

First visit to John at Academy and delighted with my new Bob! Felt very confident in his experienced hands. During the consultation he listened to what I wanted, understood and styled my hair perfectly. We discussed the colour and after looking at some examples have booked for highlights. So pleased to have discovered Academy.

Just had my first appointment at Cobham Academy after losing my previous hairdresser whom I was loyal to for many years. Needless to say I was nervous about a stranger doing my hair but Kelly gave me a great new style which I love. She was very attentive and spent a full hour perfecting it and talking me through it. You have a new regular customer now!

Very friendly & professional

So I got my hair ombréd to a blonde back in October at academy, but got sick of it so wanted to get the tips redyed. My hairs naturally got highlights and different tones, so I was naturally worried about dying it, as I thought it would have no depth to it and wouldn't match. But Academy were amazing!! They matched my colour and managed to keep some highlights in the tips, it looks completely natural! Absolutely amazing!!

Every time I come here Kara takes very good care of my hair! She is also very nice and the only reason I keep coming back. Salon is bit price and that is the only downside for me. Milly :-)

My two sons came in for a trim ! They were charged 90 pounds. You can't even see their hair was cut!
