Overall, I was disappointed.
My eyebrows did not have all the hair removed despite me asking the therapist to use more wax. I then had to ask her to cut the middle part of my eyebrows which she reluctantly did. When I then asked her to trim them a little more she said ‘oh you want a blunt look?’ It seemed an unnecessary comment and she should have been focusing more on customer satisfaction than commenting on what ‘look’ I wanted. I had a spray tan the day before and she asked me if I was going into any shops afterwards as if to imply that I shouldn’t because the wax had removed some of my tan. Again an unnecessary comment. £20 is a lot to pay for an eyebrow wax that was just over 5 mins long and not performed to a good standard at all.
When I arrived home, I could see so many hairs still remaining. The therapist also commented on my trainers saying ‘they are really uncomfortable’ and when I said I didn’t find them uncomfortable, she said ‘you’re one of the lucky ones.’ Again, an unprofessional and inappropriate comment to make.
I will not be returning.

A good hair colour and Blowdry a mix up with timings due to staff sickness which was annoying but the overall treatment was excellent

Amazing service. Team spoilt my girls completely. So caring and kind. They had a wonderful time getting their nails done and I was even gifted a complimentary voucher. I was truly touched to receive it. It was a wonderful time for all of us. I cannot thank the team enough and cannot wait to return!

I hate to say this but my hair looks awful. Nothing like the photo of my hair done previously which I showed the stylist and which she assured me she could reproduce easily. Perhaps not enough product or not enough care taken? I don’t know. I am not the expert. What I do know is that not only have I wasted my money but I feel very let down. I only treat myself to a hair stylist for special occasions. I do not want anyone to get into trouble. The girls are all very charming and I was given a very nice cup of coffee. I would be interested to hear from you to discuss my experience. Thank you.

The entire operation at the academy is first class. The team are very warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive at reception, the stylists are extremely well trained and the client care is 2nd to none. Very happy with my haircut as always, can’t recommend you enough

First time here, hadn’t had my hair cut since before the first lockdown, (my hair was extremely long!) the salon I used for years had closed and I really didn’t know where to go when I remembered I knew Tracy the receptionist so popped in. Very helpful.
If like me you like the salon experience, I want pampering for an hour with a cup of tea and a friendly face, look no further!
Bobbi was amazing, showed her a photo of a short bob and I’m over the moon! It really does look like the photo!
I highly recommend Academy Salon Cobham, I will return.

It's a therapy for me. I'm well looked after, with a cup of tea and biscuit. Hanah knows how I like my hair styled and also gives me advice on keeping it in good condition.

Today was my very first haircut, I'm 17 months old so I had to have a booster cushion and pass on the coffee. Lily was so kind to me and put in a little side fringe and trimmed round the front of my hair so it doesn't get in my eyes. I got to wear a cape like supergirl. The ladies at the reception were really nice to me and Mummy. We will definitely come again ❤️

Having my hair cut today, having not been in the salon before I wasnt sure what to expect. I was greeted on arrival, had my coat checked and say down. Salon is clean with a nicr atmosphere. Daisy introduced herself as my stylist and i explained i wanted to go shorter. Overall the wash cut was good, quick and well executed but it was basic, i wasnt offered a drink, wasnt ask how i wanted it blow dried, wasnt shown the lenght at the back. I was there less than 45mins overall. I was told some sales patter but i dont think i will be going back. £70 in cobham, lacks hospitality.

The hairdresser listened to everything I asked and gave me exactly what I wanted. Couldn’t have gone better.

Had a mess up with my booking, as I asked for the graduate stylist, but didn't realise she can't cut short hair! Very grateful to Academy for giving me a senior stylist, but honouring the original price quoted. I have a great cut and got a lovely cup of tea, but was shocked at the full price I would have had to pay had I originally booked a senior stylist.

Hannah never fails to provide such an amazing service. Today I took my daughter with me and both have walked away feeling fantastic.

Sarah was lovely and done a fantastic job cutting my hair!! The young lady who washed my hair had magic hands, so good I brought the shampoo and conditioner.
