I arrived at the salon feeling very welcomed. Beautiful Salon surroundings. Ross put me at ease and I had full confidence in him and he created the style and highlights I wanted. I didn't need to see the colour charts and he took on board the colour I didn't want to be!!! Fabulous hair wash and head massage! This is not always achieved by previous hair colour stylist. The highlights were put through finely. The coffee was great and the little glass. Perfect touch. What also was really important the colours use were as toxic free as you can be with courting no parabens. Wonderful experience. Slightly pricey but very fair as in the centre of Guildford.

For 11 years I have been fortunate enough to have my hair styled at the Julia Lampard salon when my hair was healthy and when it was recovering from chemotherapy. I have always had excellent service and Megan is upholding the high standards of this salon

Took my teenage daughter for a major restyle- almost waist length hair to very short. She was understandably anxious but Alice was very kind and helpful - really listening to what she wanted and was very happy to make suggested adjustments. Very happy with her new hairstyle. First time at this salon but will definitely be going back. A real 5 star experience!

Amal, having been trained by the master Julia! can do the best curly hair blow dry ever. If, like my daughters and me, you have curly hair and end up leaving the hairdressers - despite a perfectly good cut - with your hair a frizzy mess, search no longer and Julia/Amal can make your hair look like John Frida advert. Honestly! Great cuts too. Recommended

The lovely Alice immediately put me at my ease for my first wig consultation. In a private room my daughter and I were treated to pots of tea while Alice explained all aspects of choosing and caring for a wig. She listened carefully, was patient and sensitive to my needs, bringing out two wigs which were spot on. There was no rush, no hard sell and lots of good advice. I am absolutely delighted with the result and feel 10 years younger! Thank you Alice and all at Julia Lampard.

A very delayed review but I wanted to leave one to say thank you to Ross for doing such a fabulous job with my colour (it still looks great!) and Alice for a beautifully styled haircut. Both Ross and Alice I found to be precise and thoughtful in their approach and really listened to what I was trying to achieve. Lovely, calm salon and a great overall experience.

I was looked after by Megan and Julia. I am so embarrassed about my thinning and finally plucked up the courage to call. Well I am transformed, my hair is thin on top and now I really look like I have a full head of hair. I keep looking at it, I can’t believe it... I cried and they absolutely looked after me, It was the difference that made me cry. I really should have gone ages ago. Welcomed by friendly staff and offered refreshments straight away. Marcin asked about my hair and previous haircuts and talked through his thoughts and ideas. He was very friendly and talked me through each stage of the cut.
I was so pleased with the result - my wife said it was the best haircut I had had in ages.

A big thank you to Julia and Alice for getting my life back. Having had a bad experience with another wig supplier, I was a little worried but from the moment I entered Julia's salon I felt at ease. Alice spent time going through the various options and helped me pick the right one for me. Julia was able to style my wig there and then and to say that I was pleased with the result is an understatement. Although I live 20 miles away I will return to have my own hair styled when it grows back. Thank you again, now I'm ready to book a vacation.

This is my fourth time getting my hair cut at Julia Lampard and every time go I leave loving my haircut.

Marcin was brilliant! I’d already had a consultation earlier and on the day he was attentive and patient when choosing my colours.
Marcin clearly is very passionate about what he does and a perfectionist.
I’m super happy with the result of both colour and styling!!
The salon is in a great location and has a nice atmosphere.
Julia was present in the salon and she’s a lovely lady with a huge amount of experience and knowledge.
A bonus for me was finding a good shampoo without SLS at this salon which is something I’ve not had luck finding! Same products used on clients.

This was the first time that Ross has cut my hair and I was tremendously impressed. Lovely cut of course but in addition Ross had a very sure and calm manner when handling my hair which was a joy to experience. 100% recommend him and will look forward to booking with him again.

It is always a pleasure to have my have my hair cut. The salon is very well appointed with plenty of space. The tea is beautifully served as is the wash and cut.

My visit today started with a great coffee, followed by the best hair wash and head massage I have ever had and then a superb cut and blow dry by Julia!

Alice was so good my friend starts her chemo next week and wanted to find a wig. Alice was so helpful and very patient and there was no pressure to order there and then . My friend bought a headscarf at the salon and is now deciding what wig to go for or to stick with the headscarf.The consultation was very helpful so pleased we went there.Alice was lovely!

I’ve only ever been to one hairdresser my entire life but because I have relocated, I had to try a salon that was more local. Everyone at the salon are extremely welcoming and the salon itself is absolutely beautiful. My stylist Georgia was such a lovely, bubbly lady who who was honest and cut my hair exactly to the way I like it. Would definitely recommend Georgia and I will definitely be returning again!

Georgia Gave me a stunning hair look for my prom, that stayed in place all night.. very good service in general would highly recommend.

I had balayage with Ross a couple of weeks ago now and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have had in a salon! Ross managed to get my hair to the exact colour I wanted (which I did not expect in one session) and I am so so pleased with the results! It has been a couple of weeks and was expecting the colour to have faded and need another toner put on but my hair still looks amazing and is in such good condition! As for the salon itself I fell in love with the atmosphere and the decor in the salon! All staff are so friendly and made me feel so welcome! I would highly recommend this salon and my hair stylist Ross! Thank you so much to the Julia Lampard team!

This was my first time at this beautiful clean airy salon. My stylist was attentive and took time to talk, a lot! I felt very confident that he understood my very fine, short hair needs. Until that is he started to colour and cut my hair. I got the distinct feeling he was very junior and inexperienced. The blow dry was quite an experience!. He talked me through every step of the process as if I’d never blow dried my hair before. The end result was absolutely dreadful -I looked like a middle aged man with a flat comb over! By this time I just wanted to get out of there! No shopping for me - straight home in a complete panic to do a damage limitation exercise. Once re wet and styled myself it was not too bad, but a very lopsided cut. The colour is actually very subtle and nice. I have tried to even it out myself, but I’m afraid for £137 I will not be returning.

I’ve struggled to find a cruelty free salon with a stylist that cuts my hair the way I want it and well. Really good result for me yesterday, thank you, even my husband liked it which is a first in years! Not sure if I missed it as was in a rush but would like to see leaping bunny symbol to certify cruelty free establishment.

I cannot sing Marcin’s praises highly enough. He is a brilliant hairdresser and super friendly as well.

I had highlights and a blowdry and can sincerely say I am over the moon with both.

As well as Marvin being a fab hair stylist, the salon is lovely! It’s spotlessly clean and has a really nice atmosphere.

I have tried a number of salons in Guildford since moving from London 2 years ago and this is by far the best.

Relaxed, welcoming venue. Julia and Ross made it a really enjoyable experience, Ross took on board what I wanted and the results were excellent.

After coming in for my first Balayage I was not impressed but after speaking with Julia, she mentioned this could be redone at no further cost. Alice did my Balayage again, I am now extremely happy with the outcome and I am also pleased with the way this was resolved in a professional manor. Thank you Julia and team again, I will see you again soon. :)

I came in for a cut and colour (Balayage), I asked for golden brown ends as I have dark brown hair, I have had this done at a different salon previously so I was able to show photo examples of the look I wanted. Instead pure bleach blonde was used on my hair which is not what I asked for, as I normally have a blend of colours put through. I have quite thick hair and it seemed to take quite a while to apply the colour (actually about an hour and a half), the stylist seemed to also miss the top part of my hair, so you can not see the colour at all unless I tie up half of my hair, and this is not a balayage. Then came to the hair cut, I wanted my hair to be shaped at the front, not too much off the length, shorter layers and thinned - as I have already mentioned my hair it quite thick and needs to be thinned out. I feels like about 1/2 an inch has been cut off the length, which is fine as it is still long however the rest of my hair feels like it hasn't been touched. Overall I have left the salon with a half a head of bleach blonde highlights (only under half my head) my hair looks practically the same in length and style as when I walked in, it does not have that salon feel in fact it feels more dry and damaged because of the bleach and I was in the salon for around 4 hours. I even mentioned to the stylist that the colour was not what I had asked for and they said it takes a few goes to achieve the look I wanted, which is not true as I have had this done before and only took one go. I also still had to pay full price which was extortionate considering what the stylist had done, none of which was what I asked for. Would not recommend.

Fantastic stylist! He actually listens to what you want and delivers results.
