Always a wonderful experience

Relaxed, welcoming venue. Julia and Ross made it a really enjoyable experience, Ross took on board what I wanted and the results were excellent.

After coming in for my first Balayage I was not impressed but after speaking with Julia, she mentioned this could be redone at no further cost. Alice did my Balayage again, I am now extremely happy with the outcome and I am also pleased with the way this was resolved in a professional manor. Thank you Julia and team again, I will see you again soon. :)

I came in for a cut and colour (Balayage), I asked for golden brown ends as I have dark brown hair, I have had this done at a different salon previously so I was able to show photo examples of the look I wanted. Instead pure bleach blonde was used on my hair which is not what I asked for, as I normally have a blend of colours put through. I have quite thick hair and it seemed to take quite a while to apply the colour (actually about an hour and a half), the stylist seemed to also miss the top part of my hair, so you can not see the colour at all unless I tie up half of my hair, and this is not a balayage. Then came to the hair cut, I wanted my hair to be shaped at the front, not too much off the length, shorter layers and thinned - as I have already mentioned my hair it quite thick and needs to be thinned out. I feels like about 1/2 an inch has been cut off the length, which is fine as it is still long however the rest of my hair feels like it hasn't been touched. Overall I have left the salon with a half a head of bleach blonde highlights (only under half my head) my hair looks practically the same in length and style as when I walked in, it does not have that salon feel in fact it feels more dry and damaged because of the bleach and I was in the salon for around 4 hours. I even mentioned to the stylist that the colour was not what I had asked for and they said it takes a few goes to achieve the look I wanted, which is not true as I have had this done before and only took one go. I also still had to pay full price which was extortionate considering what the stylist had done, none of which was what I asked for. Would not recommend.

She is very talented and I feel fabulous with my new do :) I took my baby pug with me to the salon and everyone was so good with her I can’t thank them enough for letting me bring her along and looking after her while I had my cut!! Really great first consultation in a very stylish salon. Hannah was friendly and put me at ease right from the start. She was very knowledgeable and was excellent at steering me in the best direction for my situation. I really appreciated her help. I came away happy that I have a good plan in place for when I might need a wig in the not too distant future. Would most definitely recommend to others.

I was a little anxious because I haven’t set foot in a hairdressing salon in quite some time! However, I needn’t have been worried, because the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. I’m also exceptionally pleased with my new hairstyle - Ross did a fabulous job. I couldn’t recommend Julia Lampard’s more highly.

Julia was attentive and took my thoughts on board .. I requested a sharper bob cut which I received ..

I felt very confident with Julia who listened to my ideas and concerns about cutting my longer hair. A half way solution was determined and I look forward to returning to and developing a relationship with her and her other stylists.

So pleased that I found this lovely salon with a castle view in Guildford. I do believe that the ambiance makes all the difference and here the decor, the flowers and the laid back music are top notch.

I have had several wigs from Julia over the last 4 years and have always been very happy as I have walked out of the salon. She and her staff are lovely people, very helpful ,polite and discreet. I have had many compliments on my 'hair' from complete strangers since wearing a wig which is a testament to how natural they look and how expertly they are cut and styled. Ross was great! He fixed my nasty blonde that I have been trying to fix with a very natural and easy looking shadow root! He slotted me in when I hadn’t even booked for the colour. Wish I came here to begin with! Julia is great! Loved the vibe! I know for fact that other salons in Guildford have no idea what a shadow root is - so if you need a rooty colour correct go and see Julia and co!

I have just recently lost my hair from chemotherapy. I went for my initial consultation and am picking up my wig next week. I was made to feel so at ease and had a lovely experience. I would highly reccomend.
