I have had my hair cut by Louise for many years because she is quite simply the best! Louise has taken me from long to short hair - she knows exactly what I like and how I like my hair dried. She is always extremely polite, friendly and professional. An absolute gem!!!

I was very impressed with the reception I received from my stylist (Kim) this morning. She was very friendly and professional and did a great job with my hair. I would highly recommend her.

It’s a shame a blow dry is not offered with the highlights especially as it’s expensive and customers having cuts are offered this service.

Great colour from Amy, as always, she’s very professional and competent, I have been a regular client for many years, and I have always left the salon happy,
but this time though I had a totally different experience. .
I was informed that in order to get my hair finished (blow dried) I would have to pay an extra £20. Usually the blow dry finish is included in the price of the treatment and done by a junior.
I was told that because of the shortage of juniors (furloughed or laid off for cost savings) they couldn’t finish my hair unless I paid a stylist to dry it for the extra cost of £20...the alternative was to leave the salon with wet hair and unfinished styling.
It was a chilly day so choosing to leave with wet hair was not an option.
To say I was disappointed in T&G customer service is an understatement, particularly as I have always been a longstanding and loyal client, obviously that is of no importance to the salon owners, it’s a shame as the staff are very friendly, very competent and very helpful....I could see they were uncomfortable with the “new rules” as they told me lots of clients are leaving with wet hair rather than pay the extra £20 charge....not a good advertisement for what is considered a top class salon!
PS when I made my booking I wasn’t informed of this extra cost, it just appeared as a stealth extra...!

Louise is so lovely. Always very calming and relaxing, whilst cutting your hair so well. I have really thick hair which takes ages to cut and she is always so professional and does a great job.

Lisa was recommended to me as a good stylist for short hair and she didn't disappoint. This was my first hair cut with her. She was very attentive and friendly and seemed to understand what I wanted. Thank you Lisa, I absolutely love it

Nadia cut my hair beautifully, having taken on board what I wanted. A nice relaxed experience. The only negative about visiting Tony and Guy is the single use plastic sheet used for a cape - very disappointing !

Jenny has been cutting my hair for years. As an ex hairdresser I am a bit particular. Jenny never fails to meet my expectations. She's so talented and easy to get on with. The best hairdresser I have ever had

David is a fantastic and caring color specialist.
The day I got my hair done we figured my hair was very dry, it genuinely looked like my horse’s tail, (yes, it’s sort of every rider’s dream but it was David’s nightmare) he was very caring he refused to bleach my hair any further, he suggested toning and a treatment. The final look was of course 10/10. David is the sort of hairdresser that doesn’t just what you ask but more!

So glad to be back with David after having the same hair all over lockdown.

Sophie excelled herself. I have the flippy, layered and feathered cut I was looking for. Coupled with the beautiful colour I had done two weeks ago, I’m really please with my hair. Love it!

The person who did my hair was fantastic and I felt very safe. She wore a mask and visor and disinfected all her equipment before using it on me. She also did not engage me in unnessary conversation, whilst being polite, attentive and personable. However, whilst her behaviours were exemplary, I did notice staff cramming into a room for their breaks, not social distancing, and taking off their masks to talk to one another. This needs to be addressed urgently as it could easily lead to virus spread and place your customers at risk. The ratings below are good, but I won't be back till this is sorted out.

She is amazing, always feel comfortable and just love the experience xx

The salon is Covid-19 secured. Everywhere in the salon is very clean. Social distancing and disinfection measures comply with the government guidelines. It is very safe place to have you hair done. Thank you very much for all your efforts to keep us and your staff safe

Had colour with Leigh which is always amazing. And then Claire did a great blow dry. Both of them are great but surprised T&G not serving tea and coffee and also surprised you how have to pay for a blow dry after colour. The little extras are all missing and t will mean people go elsewhere particularly when your competition are doing all these extras. Such a shame as the staff are fab and i’ve been going a long time.

Nadia did an amazing job as always. I have fine and frizzy hair which she somehow tames into a glossy mane. If you have hair that you find difficult to manage, Nadia is amazing.

Colour is amazing and Claire’s suggestion to go shorter was 100% the right decision.

As always Kim was an absolutely joy, plus my haircut was, as always, amazing. Thank you.
