I am a returning customer to this salon. I am in my late 40’s and know how I like my hair but not always able to explain it !!! The staff are incredibly friendly and listened to me when I tried to describe my needs . The results were great and I’ll keep coming back. We forget to thank people for the good things sometimes and I think is it’s important . The salon is clean and tidy and all the staff are friendly and professional .

Once again I had an excellent experience at Toni and Guy in Woking when my hair was blow dried by Salvatore on Friday. I have been visiting the salon for a number of years and I am always assured of a professional and friendly service, whether it be for a cut or tint or blow dry. Salvatore is unfailingly courteous and professional in his approach and he takes great pains to ensure that my wishes regarding the cut/colour/styling of my hair are fully fulfilled. He has also provided advice about products to use in order to ensure the optimum long term health of my hair for which I am grateful. I have received numerous comments from others (even strangers!) about the condition, colour and styling of my hair, all of which have been complimentary in content. Such positive remarks can be attributed to Salvatore's skill and talent as a hairdresser when working with my hair. Both of my teenage daughters have also had their hair cut and styled by Salvatore; they have been very pleased with the results and enjoyed the hairdressing experience offered.
I have no hesitation in recommending Salvatore's services to other customers.

I am regular client of Tony and Guy Woking, and I always ask for Salvatore Raia. Every time I go he understands perfectly what I want and exceeds my expectations. He is always very proactive on proposing ideas but without putting pressure on me. He is also very open minded, flexible, and has a client oriented attitude, always making me feel confortable, I totally recommend!

I have been Salvatore's client for around 11 years, and have followed him from his previous salon to Woking (an hour and a half round trip!) He is always attentive, and I know he cares deeply about delivering excellent customer service, and doing a professional job(He also gives great advice on how to keep my hair in the best possible condition.) I have tried other stylists, closer to home, but i know that I will receive professional and expert cutting and styling when I visit Salvatore.

listened my requests attentively, discussed them with me professionally, and I got what I wanted and even better and more. Tkank you Salvatore.

I write this review as a qualified hairdresser...... my hair was in serious need of a good cut. My expections were higher than the stylist skill base. Having been scolded at the basins, and told ‘it’s okay’ the stylist was more interested in coffee and keeping the floor clean than concentraining on my hair cut. Having gone through hair loss and having a sensitive scalp I was hoping for the best of the best. I had to ask for another stylist as the front feathering of my hair was not even. Further more the stylist blamed me regarding terminology - As a hairdresser I use the correct terminology. I pointed out am a client and you are the professional! Thoroughly disappointed and even though i was given 20% discount. I would rather have a stylist who can cut evenly, listen effectly and not blame the client. All three of these I feel were absolutely missing! My hair is still uneven and will take 6 weeks for me to even it out. The stylist did no more than that of a trainee. Apart from Feeling a trainee would have concentrated and not blamed the client. I feel angry and to say I am disappointed is an understatement, in the skill base and customer service. The search continues for a decent stylist!!!

Harriet always gives me the best cut! Wouldn't go to anyone else. She gives a great blow dry!

Sammi is an absolute star. Myself and my little girl have our hair cut by her and have done for a long time and were always super happy (especially my daughter who I think loves sammi more than me!) I also have highlights with Linnea and she is brilliant. Credit to all the staff at Toni & guy woking.

Very pleased with Lauren firstly with highlights and then charlotte cut and finish . Both girls friendly and I felt at ease with their advice and suggestions.

Toni and Guy has a great buzz about it. It was my first visit as I’m looking for a new hairdresser. Harriet was knowledgeable and so helpful. She gave me the best cut I’ve had in years and I’ll definitely be going back.

Me and my twin have been going to this salon for 5 years or so and I couldn't go anywhere else. I'm a student living up in Leeds but insist on travelling down to get my hair done, everything from the products to the training is fabulous. But everyone working there are amazing, I look forward to getting my hair done and spending time with everyone, catching up with everyone is always a laugh and I always leave look/feeling L'Oreal fresh. Nothing puts a smile on my face more than paying everyone a visit.

Been growing my hair out for god knows how long, finally got it all off and in a style that's effortless and still looks top class weeks later. The store was very nice, staff were friendly. No need to go anywhere else. I'll be returning.

Richard was amazing , had some good chats , made me laugh and was great with my hair. Can’t wait to see him again sometime soon!

Where to begin.
It took me and week to find the results of my strand test and I only got them back because I went to the salon in person... they were meant to call me on the day, then two days later, then another day later- not a whole week.
Then the hair cut done by Harriet- 5 stars honestly bless her she did an amazing job. So did everyone supporting me.
And Simon, he was the sweetest patient busy and incredibly calm. I have to give him credit there. But I did not leave the salon with the hair I asked for colour wise. I asked for a free hand balayage/ombré and leftwith a head of highlights instead.
Initially I was made blonde (I am asian with dark dark hair) so I had yellow lines in my hair... brilliant (!). They then toned it a total of four times I believe to get a colour that wasn’t blooming yellow. I was in the salon for six hours, I left aching tired and shaking with anger literally.
I genuinely couldn’t believe it took six hours for a result you could barely see a change in. I told Simon I would rather it be too dark than too light and left the salon an hour and a half later than what they had said.
I am so angry with my result- the discount given was okay but I expect it to be rectified by another person without being charged.
The staff were the kindest I must say they really managed to calm me down and were very patient.
I believe there was an error in communication, but that doesn’t make the situation right.

After having someone else cut my hair for a long time I was a bit nervous but Salvatore put me at ease, was so friendly and clearly passionate about hair and the best customer experience. Made me and my hair feel very special. I am so happy with the result and can’t wait to see him at my next visit ! There was a really happy and everyone help each other atmosphere in the salon today too .

I arrived late but Christine kindly squeezed me in . She is always so friendly and is technically outstanding.

Brilliant service

Christine did exactly what I asked for even though I changed my mind at the last minute! She wasn’t fazed & gave me the new style I wanted. I’m so pleased! I love it!

Happy atmosphere with lovely staff and great coffee. I had colour, highlights with Simon Lam who did a brilliant job as usual. Had Lisa as my stylist today as my usual stylist has moved salons. Lisa did an ace job cutting my hair and I rebooked for Simon and Lisa again after being super pleased with the results. Both listened to what I wanted and how my hair ‘works’ (or doesn’t!) and were fab at offering advice. Very client focused, this is a great salon, very friendly with consistent, expert practitioners.

I was able to book an appointment the night before and go in with a very rough idea of what I wanted done and Harriet just created something that I am completely in love with. Even though mubhaor is short she has cut it so that I can style it different ways. Thank you Thank you!!

I love getting my hair cut by Richard he's done my hair for 3 years and he is so friendly, kind and the best hairdresser I have ever met. Highly recommend him, all the staff are so nice too.
