Isaac is an excellent barber. He kept me informed throughout t and explained what he was doing and why. The cut itself was excellent.

The other members of staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was brilliant.

First visit tonight after my usual Barber of many years retired. I searched internet for that special place and what a find this is great craic from time I arrived, smashing bunch lads in a unique building and a spot on haircut by Barry, really pleased with the professional styling, that extra care and this will be my new place. Top stars all round

Came in with a mop. Barry was great, cut my hair exactly as I wanted left with an awesome trim. Nice atmosphere and good crack too.

I had never been to the Boilerhouse Gentleman before but it certainly won't be my last visit. The service was impeccable and the staff were extremely polite. I was hesitant at first with it being nothing like the barbers I had been to before. I apologise but I never caught the name of the gentleman that cut my hair, but he had short hair and an amazing beard. Either way he was fantastic. He made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and even gave some fantastic life advice. I would 100% recommend these guys and will be back myself whenever I need a haircut again. Thank you all so much for the great experience! :)

Quiet competence was the order of the day here, with excellent customer service. Not flash or showy, just good old fashioned high quality service in a very relaxing salon. Isaac was exemplary, professional, confident and I'd certainly suggest you seek this place out for your hair and beard. And maybe a quiet schooner too...

I have been getting my haircut for the last 2 months after being recommended my a friend of mine after his great experience also! Isaac is nothing but a gentleman and a great mens barber at that! Managed to fix my hair aftwr just one trim and he makes the whole experience great. Couldn’t recommend using Boilerhouse anymore than I have, great cut, great atmosphere and a warm welcome.

Incredible professional service. The draft pour of Asahi and Estrella (i had both) was most welcome on my arrival.

The shop is exquisite and the finest quality of finish has been used to create a great gentleman’s atmosphere.

Extreme care to detail is taken, along with excellent styling. The cut is what I was hoping and I can assure you you’re in good hands here.

The barber, Isaac is also a considerate, amiable and charming individual to converse with.

What would make this experience truly 5 star would be the introduction of a straight razor and maybe a product or aftershave applied to your face after a beard trim. Only a small gripe but surely once they apply this they’re onto a winner.

I would most certainly use this service again.

I’m so glad I decided to give this place a go. Isaac was welcoming and professional and kept his cool despite me giving him an absolute monster of a task to do (jet black hair to cool blonde is by no means easy). The whole place has a really relaxed atmosphere. The two beers I had didnt hurt either! I will definitely be back next time I’m due a trim.

Came to Boilerhouse Gentlemen today for first time, amazing experience and is one cool shop, very friendly staff that made you welcome and feel at home, welcomed with a nice cold pint but could also have the choice of tea coffee or whisky which is really cool, great banter with felix and Isaac and great haircut, will be going back and 100% reccomend ???

Isaac is a fantastic barber and was super helpful when suggesting style change, amazing service and advice and made to feel at ease. Interior is beautiful and made to feel super comfortable. 100% wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

It was my first visit to this site as I’ve gone to the Ouseburn venue in the past. Another great haircut but this time in a unique and brilliant surroundings! Can’t wait for the cafe next door to open.

I was in desperate need of a trim ahead of a job interview, and managed to get a slot at Boilerhouse on its official opening day.

Isaac was an absolute pro throughout, helping to reason for and against a variety of styles, and helped me settle on a trim which was absolutely top notch.

This didn’t feel like my first visit, it felt like returning to an old friend (who happened to serve me a very nice whisky while I got my trim too, I’ll have you know!). A fantastic setup, with a really classy decor and upmarket feel.

I genuinely can’t rate Isaac and Boilerhouse enough, and look forward to my next visit!

From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a worthwhile visit. A beautiful venue, clean and tidy and the team are just lovely. Everything is tailored for a great experience - they even wash your hair after using the clippers, but before the final cut and shape, so you dont leave with loads of little bits of cut hair on your head. Isaac did a great job too, and the coffee was delicious.

Highly reccomend, not sure I'll be going anywhere else for my future cuts!

A great haircut makes you look decent, a great barbers puts you in a good mood. Felix and Isaac have built a great shop with beer, whisky and a cracking atmosphere. Very happy with the result and I’m looking forward to returning. 10/10 would recommend.
