Absolutely recommend this salon! I had quite a dramatic cut and had my hair coloured for the first time. I was in control of how it would be styled the full time with the stylist’s guidance. She even asked me to put on my glasses so I could see how it would look usually and styled it around this shape. This is the first salon that has ever considered this! Love the cut and love the colour! Thanks!

I love going to the boilerhouse to get my hair done. It’s my ‘me time’ escape. Sally is just fantastic & everyone always comments on how nice my hair weeks after my appointment. I can’t recommend Sally or the Boilerhouse enough.

Just had a balayage and cut by Hope. She was amazing, so knowledgable and offered great advice! So happy with the cut and colour! The service throughout the salon is always amazing, they go out the way to make you feel comfortable and continually offer refreshments. Great service!!

Popped into Ouseburn Boilerhouse today without an appointment and just asked if I could have one of my gel nails fixed. I loved being in the salon today. I was made to feel welcome straight away. My whole experience was great. Hope was lovely and I felt confident that she was confident in what she was doing from the start. I was really pleased with my hair colour (loved it) and cut. I left feeling like a new woman?

I have been coming here for 2 years now and Saskia is my main stylist, I love everything she does with my hair. I am always offered honest advice about my hair and I have never been left disappointed. All the stylists are incredibly talented and attentive. The salon's atmosphere is calm and welcoming.

For the first time in a long time I’ve found a stylist who keeps it simple. This is my third cut by Isaac and I will definitely be coming again.

I’ve been coming to this salon for a while and have always been happy with the service from Leanne, however as she is now on maternity, today ***** did my nails and I was extremely disappointed and shocked at her attitude. ***** was rude from the minute I sat down, laughing and snarling at my choice of colour nails, when I asked for one colour with a sparkle on the top she said she couldn’t do this even though Leanne had done this for me before. When I told her I wanted the same colour as the last time she was very sarcastic and said “really” and gave me a filthy look. ***** laughed at me when I was looking at the tester colours and making dirty looks at me! ***** had a terrible attitude and I did not feel comfortable at all with her. Unfortunately will not be back.

Been going to boiler house since May 18 and I’m never disappointed. The friendliest staff always up for a chat but if you just want to relax that’s okay too! Always give good advice and know exactly what I’m after without really having to say much. I always go in with a right mess on my head but come out with it looking healthy and shiny. Their balayage blending is flawless and they always get the right tone and warmth.

The salon is expanding and undergoing changes which is nothing but exciting! Can’t wait to see what other services they’ll be bringing in.

I absolutely love my new hairdo. Sally (yes, we do have the same name!) is a gem - a lovely person and badass hairstylist! She totally revamped my look and I get so many appreciative comments, it's ridiculous. From one Sally to another - thanks!

The haircut was ok but I have a burnt scalp from the water being too hot when washing my hair. Some staff were unfriendly / rude.
