I had previously had my hair coloured by Hope a number of months ago and once before by Felix. My hair is thinning due to age and grows slowly. I have started to lose pigment in my hair and wanted to go a chocolate brown. The hair colour after treatment is auburn and does not suit me and am disappointed.
Paying £80 for a colour treatment I expect the stylist to finish the blow dry but my appointment was given to a junior stylist. Not happy with that. Lovely coffee though. Hope is lovely and this is no way a personal criticism, easy to talk to and friendly and warm. Just not happy with my hair.

Elle was really lovely and made me feel comfortable despite me being hesitant to cut my hair she made my hair look amazing and made myself feel really good too. Would definitely be coming back here for my haircut/styling needs.

First time going to this salon and Saskia cut my hair perfectly, really recommend. I wanted a shaggy style cut and it’s perfect.

Even though I was her last client of the day, Hope carefully cut and styled my hair perfectly and exactly how I wanted it to look! I'm so happy with my hair and feel great. Every time I have been to Boilerhouse it’s been fantastic. It’s always so welcoming and relaxing. Hope is so lovely and I really trust her opinion with what’s best for my hair. After some postpartum hair loss it’s been a real treat to get a conditioning treatment and haircut recently.

Nicole was fab. She listened to me, what I wanted in terms of colour and style, how my hair is, how I like it to look, problems I have. She showed me the best way to deal with an unruly fringe when drying my hair.
She was so friendly, as were the staff there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicole and the salon. On the pricey side but you get what you pay for, I think. Thanks.

I travel miles to get my hair cut by Saskia. I always want something a bit different to the previous time and she listens well and properly discusses the options to make sure we know what we’ve both got in mind. I trust her and she cuts and styles my hair in a way that makes me feel great, not just when I leave but for weeks, even months after…. I highly recommend Saskia and the salon staff and surroundings..

Didn’t quite get the cut, style, or colour I wanted. Just very unfortunate expensive fix for me. Pretty upset about it.

I have been going back to Hope for my balayage and cut for over 6 years now. Although I have naturally dark hair she achieved a bright blond colour whilst keeping my hair in top condition. I get complemented on my hair regularly and always feel like I got more than I asked for. She’s an absolute professional in what she does, always makes you feel taken care of and listens carefully to what the customer expects. The salon itself is modern, clean and is a luxury place to relax. I used to be apprehensive in the past when I was getting my hair done and now it it is a relaxing day.
